A nice attempt by Funcom but it's looks can't save what is overall a disappointing expansion.
Age of Conan has improved quite a bit since it's horrible launch. What was once a broken game now is a functional one. So it was with great anticipation I waited for this expansion and sadly, it did not live up to it's... Read Full Review

A much needed breath of fresh air into a game that's finally starting to live up to it's potential...2 years later...
So, I was a big fan of Age of Conan, up to about....eh....level 50ish. I could deal with the lack of voice acting after Tortage...no big deal. The quests were meh, but the combat ROCKED! And, Sanctum was FRIGGIN AMAZI... Read Full Review

Given the wonderful world of Conan and the interesting combat, it is quite a shame. I can't recommend AoC as it is, and
Ya know, visually I had always loved AoC. I liked the setting and my blonde barbarian hunk running through the nice sceneries. I also loved Tortage... but as everyone who played AoC knows: Tortage is not AoC. To this ... Read Full Review

A bug here, a bug there, but as Gamespot said, the violence and combat system make it up fot it.

Thoughts on the game after leaving Tortage
This is a pretty good game for an MMO, he he. I really like the idea of playing in the Conan universe, which AoC does a wonderful job of recreating. You can group if you like, or pretty much solo if you prefer. I mostly ... Read Full Review

c'mon Funcom
I'm going to base this review on pros and cons of this expansion. The game feels exactly like aoc always has, boring grind with quests and instability issues. Pros- New areas and dungeons. Gorgeous graphics as ... Read Full Review

A fair update to a second rate MMO...one that makes the game feel more complete but doesn't save it in the end.
Where Age of Conan is concerned, there are two groups of people: Those who still play and love the game (and/or have invested so much time getting to level 80 that they couldn't imagine playing anything else)...and th... Read Full Review

Good graphics and good combat don't make up for this lack luster MMOs technical faults.
When this game was first announced I was happy to see that the Conan franchise was going to get a little love. Like all MMOs I waited a few months after the game was released so the creators could work out some of the bu... Read Full Review

Great step in the right direction for a game with a rocky start.
Chances are that if you play AOC you've been well versed in the MMO craze for a while now. When this massive online game came out it was most definitely considered a contender for such huge favorites as WOW which is quit... Read Full Review
