Sonic Origins Cheats For Nintendo Switch

1. Easy Chaos Emerald Collection In Sonic 2

   In the Origins version of Sonic 2, it's possible to collect every single Chaos Emerald before even finishing the first act! Here's how to do it:
   
   Start a game in Sonic 2 (any mode will do), then access the special stage through the signpost as normal. Once you beat it and get the emerald, pause the game and restart the level. This will reset your level progress, but NOT your emerald count. Meaning entering the same signpost again will place you in the special stage for the next emerald! You can repeat this as much as you want until you get have all seven.

2. Debug Mode Crash

   In Sonic 3 & Knuckles, you can use the Debug Mode to crash the game. Here is a step by step guide:
   1: Play S3&K.
   2: Enter stage select.
   3: Activate the debug mode.
   3: Go to Marble Garden Zone Act 1.
   4: Turn into Hyper Sonic.
   5: Get over 999 rings within 5 seconds via world edit (the slide at the beginning can help you with that).
   6: Use world edit to constantly place goal posts while moving erratically. Continue spamming goal posts until it crashes.
   Please note that this might not work or may be patched out at any time. This happened to me and I wanted to submit it to GameFAQs.

3. Have Tails in Mushroom Hill Act 1 when playing as Sonic alone.

   First go to level select in Sonic 3& Knuckles then enter 19941018 debug mode code then select Mushroom Hill Zone Act 1 also make sure Sonic doesn't have Tails on his right. when he about to bring you to the start of the level go in debug mode wait to your are under the ground after you can go back up or if you have all 7 chaos emeralds and you can skip the Knuckles cutscene and go for the first super emerald note you will lose Tails. If you don't go for the emerald you can use Tails to reach areas you can't do when solo has sonic and you can get extra help for boss but after beating the boss and beat the act Tails will disappear.

4. Sonic 3&Knuckles - Codes

   At the Sound Test/Level Select menu, use the Sound Test to play the following Numbers in order to unlock the secret codes.

   4, 1, 2, 6, 4, 1, 2, 6	Hyper Forms ( All 7 Super Emeralds )

   2, 0, 1, 7, 8, 0, 1, 5	Super/Hyper Flying Sonic

5. Sonic 3&Knuckles - Title Screen Codes

   At the Title Screen when it says "Press Button" enter the following codes;

   Effect
   Up, Up, Up, Down, Down, Down, Up	Miles / Tails Text change for in-game text fonts
   Up, Up, Down, Down, Up, Up, Up, Up	Sound Test/Level Select

6. Secret Options in Sonic 1

   When playing Sonic 1 in Anniversary or Classic Mode, enter the classic level select code on the title screen. (Up, Down, Left, Right, then any button) Rather than selecting your character, you’ll be taken to a level select menu. This menu differs from the original Genesis release, as you can also mess with a whole host of different options. These include turning the Spindash on and off, replacing the basic shields with ones from Sonic 3, and having Tails follow you around ala Sonic 2 (set the Player option to *00* for this). You can even change the Chaos Emerald amount to 7, enabling Super Sonic.
   
   This will also open up alternate title screens for the game. Change the Player option to whatever you want, then back out of the menu. The selected character will take Sonic's place.

   Effect
   Press Up, Down, Left, Right at the title screen	Unlocks the classic Level Select, among new options.
