  2. Speed Up Pre-Round Animations

On any stage that has a scrolling screen intro, like Alex's New York neighborhood or Gill's Mediterranean ruins, press any attack button to speed up the animations. This also works on the transition between Elena's first and second stages.

  3. Floating Ibuki

When playing as Ibuki, you can trigger a programming bug when linking her launching attack into her air chain combo. Doing so causes the game to reset Ibuki's standing animation in midair, and prevents you from performing any attacks aside from her kunai. In rarer cases, this will cause the game to freeze entirely.

  4. Flash Chopping Elena

Due to a programming bug, it takes a few extra animation frames for the game to register that Elena has recovered from attacks that turn her around. If you hit her with Alex's Flash Chop special, she'll be knocked back and around, and won't be able to recover fast enough to block or parry another Flash Chop. You can easily chain Flash Chops and keep her trapped in this combo long enough to KO her.

  5. Quickly Fill Sean's Super Art Gauge

Like all the other characters, Sean has to build up a gauge to do Super Arts. Due to a programming error, he can do this much quicker than any of the others. By holding Back on the directional pad while tapping an attack button, Sean's gauge will fill up twice as fast as it normally should.

  6. Gill Playable Glitch

This glitch requires two controllers. When you start up the game, let the intro play out entirely and enter Demo Mode. The game will go to a CPU-controlled character select screen, and will choose Ryu. Look closely when the Super Art selection screen appears. When the CPU selects Ryu's Super Art, the other two Super Arts are removed from the screen. As soon as this happens, press the 2nd Player Start Button. For reference, the timer will be around the 15 second mark. If timed correctly, the 2nd Player character select screen will appear and the game will reset to a 2nd Player Arcade Mode.

Play through as normal until you reach Gill. As the screen scrolls down before the match begins, 1st Player Start Button. The game will announce that's time to fight a new challenger. However, it will display a purple VS screen, but with no character portraits. Gill will be playable via the 1st Player controller. Aside from a throw animation glitch in mirror matches, he is fully functional. If Gill wins, the game will automatically roll over to a new 1st player Arcade Mode with him still as the playable character. Also, the 1st Player character select will be glitched. It will automatically choose Ryu, but display Gill's Super Art. If a 2nd Player presses start during a Gill arcade playthrough, the game will automatically choose Gill if the 1st Player lets the timer run out. You also have to redo this glitch each time you reset and start a new game.

  7. Control Sean's Basketball Intro

When Sean uses his basketball shot intro animation, you can actually alter its arc by pressing right or left. If you time it right, you can hit your opponent with the ball.
