Game done for the gamers

As a gamer of 20+ years... I haven't had this much of a solid feel from a game since 2006.
After what seems like an eternity of bad releases by publishers sucking developers for all they are worth and turning good IP into trash and writing them off, old veterans of the gaming industry are coming back to fight ... Read Full Review

It's Torchlight, only with the number "2" at the end. Boring, and mostly EMPTY.
Torchlight 2 is the exact same game, only bigger. Lots of loot, lots of monsters, but it feels empty, like you're the only human in the world. Even the friendly NPCs greet you with "hello human". Story wise: the game su... Read Full Review

You've traveled this long and lonely road before, but never in such smoothness and polish.
In order for Runic Games' Torchlight II to be a success, it had to face a number of hurdles that undoubtedly discouraged other studios from trying their luck in the action role-playing game genera. That neighborhood was... Read Full Review

Fun 4 all 4 just 20 bucks
I didn't play the first Torchlight, but played Diablo / Diablo 2 / Diablo 3 massively. I must say the story is weak but the fun is good. That's what count the most, the pro's: *** Fast action packed *** Pet with spells ... Read Full Review

Everyone has to compare it to D3 ... but to review it on it's own merit's it's basically a great game. Fun and addictive
It's not D3 for good or for worse. But I'm getting to a point where I can enjoy both games equally for their own merits. In my review I'm just going to tell you what I love about T2 and why you should pay the cheap price... Read Full Review

T2 is so much better than T1, even without the online addition.
I was actually let down by Torchlight 1, given who the developers of the game were (the real Diablo devs). But T2 blows T1 out of the water by incorporating everything I had hoped T1 would be....a deep skill system that... Read Full Review

Better than D3 in nearly every way.
Let me start by saying I didn't DESPISE D3 like most people. But that was probably because I never played any of the previous diablo games. I grew up playing baulders gate so D3 really isn't so bad compared to that. Anyw... Read Full Review

A by-the-books isometric loot fest that fans will enjoy, but will do little to draw new players.
In what I'm sure was a calculated effort, Runic Games played things very safe in making this game. Torchlight 2 is likely the least innovative sequel I've ever played. There is nothing really new, but everything that was... Read Full Review

Hits all the right marks!
What makes this game awesome? This game is extremely well balanced and polished - i don't clearly recall Diablo II or Torchlight I, it's been a long time. All I know is after 20+ hours of playing this game, it's tons ... Read Full Review
