I've played all of the New Super Mario Bros. games from the original to this, and they've all been pretty solid. However, the music in the games' underground, castle, and fortresses seem to be stuck in a time warp. A big part of Mario games is the music. Otherwise, solid gameplay, and big props for the level curveballs I didn't see in the Wii NSMB game or 2 for 3DS. Also, give us something new instead of 3 star coins!
One thing tho: Nintendo needs to release Mario 3D Land and World for Switch; those games are amazing because they're not the exact same formula like NSMB games, which appear to just be Mario spinoffs these days.
