I'm now playing Homeworld 3. When I played the first Homeworld, I didn't even know GameSpot existed :)

After 3 I'm going back to the remaster and recapture that feeling from the original.
It was such a great game back in 1999 - superb 3D, excellent music, and an RTS game with an emotional story that carries mission over mission! Oh, and the fleet carrying on from mission to mission truly made you feel more of it - it's not just dispensable units, it's your people!

@cinnoman: It's true, but it's also one of the best games of all time. I only played it originally on PS4 (the remaster) but if they bring this to PC with all the improvements they state, it's still worth a buy from me - since I loved it so much. I'm sorry but this game is like one of the best novels of all times is to books: it's still worth it, more than worth it years/decades after the original launch. And I hope all the extra sales will help finance the next Last of Us game. I feel like badass and battle-worn Ellie needs one last outing (at least!) before all of it ending.

Fatal Frame 1 through 3 on PS2 are amongst my favourite games. I really wish they rebooted the franchise, but not as a Slot Machine game......

After the 100-day period they will have arrived to the conclusion that the vast majority of semiconductor components are fabricated in Asia...

And that building a "pipeline" in the USA to produce chips similar to AMDs and Nvidia chips will require an investment of billions of dollars and a period of years...

I run my gaming PC at 1440p and have a nice monitor. I really don't want to buy a 4K monitor or a 4K TV. Lots of games won't run natively at 4K, anyway, so why not provide support for 1440p outputs from the console? Win win for everyone.

Nice to see, finally, specs that show resolution, framerates and quality level together. Traditionally they show only "minimum" and "recommended" but that doesn't give any idea of how the game performs. I hope this become the new norm now: what you need for 30 fps or 60 fps in 1080p, 1440p and 4K - though I doubt it.

This is very sad to me, as the original is so good, and the previous works from Villeneuve have been so good. Blasted pandemics! It almost feels like Dune has been cursed and prevented from having a truly worthy realization in movies or TV - it is such a deep and difficult material. Villeneuve seems to me (by his previous work) a worthy director, and I approve the choice of actors and believe their work can bring the original novel to life in a special way. I hope the pandemic will abate, for all the obvious reasons, and all that it will allow for this movie to be presented to everyone in an unrestricted way... "The sleeper must awaken"!

@SingletreeAve: I suppose it's more that deeper stealth mechanics wouldn't appeal to as many people, so they don't go for it. Thus, Assassin's Creed keeps feeling more like Action Creed than otherwise.

I definitely notice more shadows in the eyes, which makes characters look less "hyped". Other than that, I struggle to find other differences. Slightly smaller lips in some cases?

It they have some sense, they'll make it like the "Infernal Affairs" movie, with a touch more action, like the game.
