Here's one for you guys- Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth. Most fun game no one's ever heard of. Excellent story based on works of H.P. Lovecraft, thick suspensful atmosphere, exciting mix of shooting, puzzle-solving detective style, stealth, action...it's truly a great game. Gamespot likes to mention Condemned 2 and talk about how the "chase sequences" (I won't spoil them for those who haven't played yet) in that game were absolutely amazing, but COC had sequences that were ten-times better than that and no one even knows. Everyone- play this game.

Right i can understand that if you want it realistic that if you die you have to restart the level or the whole game if you want it like that but having to buy the game again, are you serious?Carroll-06

Sure. I can understand, to a degree of course, that perhaps starting the game over again could be successful. Games in the old days used to be that hard and no one had a problem then. Of course, in those games though, you could still play it again. That's the key. The game cannot break and stop working. It's completely absurd.

[QUOTE="OWNaggio"]Whoa. Someone actually voted yes. Who are you, and tell me why you would buy this game. I really, really, really want to know.DataDream

Yeah someones always got to be the joker - especially on here - I'd be willing to bet whoever did it just did it because no one else did.

:)

Good point. Forgot about those crazy kids.

Well, it's 1-88 now. Pretty intimidating results. Keep 'em coming...

if you could select normal mode or "real life" mode in the single player options then it would be ok. but if you die in RL mode the game shouldnt lock you should just have to replay from the start again. might make a challenging alternative for a player once they get good in normal modeMacutchi

I've recommended ideas like these to my friend, but he states that the purpose of the game is utter realism. There can be no other difficulties less than that of "real life." He thinks that the "fun" would come from you being truly scared and watchful of your every move, because if you died...well, you know by now. Interestingly, he's stated that the multiplayer plays nothing like the single player because it can be played again, so it will almost be an entirely different game.

Frontlines: Fuels of War is rated "T." I haven't played it, so I can't tell you if it's any good. It's weird that a shooter about full-scale war can be rated "T," but hey, if you like shooters, there's a choice.

Good job guys. My point to my friend wasn't that much different from what all of you are saying about the game. Of COURSE no one will buy that game. At first I thought he was joking, but to my complete surprise, he wasn't. But this poll was to prove a point, and obviously it has been proved. Not even one vote. Not even one random person saying they'd play just the multiplayer and ignore the single player. I'll show him the results later, I just hope more people vote. I want the results to be something like 0-100. Man, that'd be great.

I don't know if you like RTS games, but Command and Conquer 3 got some great reviews. It was great back in the day on the computer, and it looks even better now.
