I know that's the problem. I renewed and paid for a year's subscription yet i'm still in basic mode with ad's everywhere? if i renewed I shouldn't be in basic mode. Yet of course i can't find a single email contact on GS's page. What gives. How the hell do I fix this if I can't even contact them??
1) I didn't get an email from GS stating my account was about to run out.
2) Conversally it did, so i renewed and paid for another year's subsciption last night however, i come back today and there are still advertisements on the forum. Has my renewal not been processed even though payment has?
I hope you haven't been paying monthly for a while, because yearly is a lot cheaper. >.>

yea i pay yearly ... i've been a paying member for years now and with no response from GS i'm still annoyed with the ad's at the top! paying members shouldn't have to see ad's anywhere i don't care how small it is nor do i care if people like the ad's. it's against the principle of selling us the membership deal when they put ad's up!
I don't really notice it myself, and it doesn't bug me either...

but the point is ... we are paid subscribers! i pay monthly so i don't have to deal with ads. now that they are bringing ads to paid subscribers makes me feel cheated and less likely to want to renew a subscription to GS. if my main reason to pay monthly was to not deal with ads then now i feel like we're being ripped off.
as a paying member of GS why do i see a CBS advertisement on the top of each page? sorry if this was already brought up. just don't like if this is going to become a continual thing for paying members?
as I observe, there are mainly two kinds of people who sooooo want this or other console exclusives to come to PC,
1. those who already have the game on consoles, but they want to play it again on PC with better graphic quality.
2. those who want to play high profile console exlcusives, but they didn't get it on console; this group has subdivisions: either they just don't "want it" enough, therefore they can keep waiting for it instead of buying a console for it; or they don't have enough disposable income (or no income at all) to buy themselves consoles and console games.

I think you are forgetting the largest group. the group of PC gamers who refuse to play "shooters" on a console because they feel as though the only way to play a "shooter" is with a keyboard and mouse. I can not for the life of me go to a joystick to play a FPS or TPS. trying to aim by scrolling is ridiculous to me so I'm hoping GoW2 will come out for PC. GoW was one of my favorite COOP games last year and I want to continue the game hoping this year on PC
