I don't know much about the whole fans to be honest,as much as I can understand these peeps,they're all trapped in time and refused to move on.

Ever since Sonic jumped to 3D,the progress became slow,there's alot of miss than there were for hits,only hits landed are those from post 2005-2008 time period,to which I often refer it as "Nightmare Era" during that time,Sonic's fanbase decreased significantly,not to mention what happened the year after it began,there are like 1 in a billion of fans who liked it.it's all Sonic'06. from there,people tend to show heavy hate against him for committing the "Soleanna Affair" with the princess there.

As for Mario...he hasn't changed a bit since his debut,he experimented less than his rival,but somehow its formula is keeping him on top and a jump ahead of Sonic.

@ianhh6: terrible idea if you ask me,it's not like there's only one official Sonic maker out there,no..there's a lot of them in the deep web created by unlicensed independent third(turd) parties,I have a bad feeling about it,it will remind me of the infamous Sonic.exe and Sally.exe if anyone were able to recreate those "childhood destroyers",it will be 100% guaranteed as stale and predictable and no longer scary as people often depicted.

back to topic...ninty loves community-built levels,or don't they?,heck I wish there were Mario Kart Course Builder/Editor that can do wonders and tricks from the first mario kart to 8 (yes,among those lines were Double Dash and MK Wii)

Guess that's that,I know some people here have a tendency to not post what was the last movie one just watched,like me for one example,I watched movies too,but I denied the fact that I am a movie buff,as I'm not that crazy about movies.

@horgen: funny thing is,that thread has tens of thousands of views,for a non-sticky topic anyway,how was it disappeared out of thin air? Must've been a shadow mod's work.heck I tried my best to look up the first 3 pages for it,I never wanted to dig deeper than 4 pages(unless specified) just to look for a popular non-sticky one year old thread that still has steam and other forms of unknown energy that keep that topic alive today.

Most of the cartoons brought to CN back then were like a child's treasure,now it's for weirdly childish men without happy memories. the only known cartoon I watched its last personally is Courage the Cowardly Dog,the rest such as Cow and Chicken or I am Weasel or Samurai Jack...nah they do too much rerun back then.
