I would love to see another Super Mario Bros. too, but if you're itching to play a good 2D platformer, I just previewed The Legendary Starfy which totally reminds me of the old school platformers, except with a ton of new content. There's also 2 player co-op which is really cool! You don't even need a second cart for some of the levels/minigames.

Très bon! Vous êtes très doué.
Do you have a website with all of your work listed?
Whenever I search for game soundtracks, they're so expensive! $30 to $50 for like, maybe 20 to 30 2 minute songs? Seems sort of rip-offish.Chojuto
That's about how much they go for in Japan. They aren't cheap, and there's a ton of bootlegs out there online that sell for the same amount. Pretty much if you see something $30 or less and seems too cheap to be true, it's fake.
http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/will have stuff, but you pay quite a bit for shipping but at least those prices aren't completely unrealistic.
I have firs played Rhapsody when it came out for the PS1. I think the DS version is better in graphics & game play, but I don't like the singing because it is in Japanese & I don't understand Japanese, but I got around it by keeping the audio CD that came with the PS1 because I love the songs for it since it is in English. Can annyone else comment on it, please?David59kz9
The vocals are still in Japanese but there are English subtitles. I don't like translated songs because they kind of lose their meaning and sound a bit funny in English.
I played the DS game and I really enjoyed it. Not sure if you'd get that much out of it if you've already played the PS version, but it's worth checking out.
I thought there was a lot more effort needed to play Avalon Code than Chrono Trigger. CT is more of a traditional RPG with leveling and such, Avalon Code is action-based. So... it really depends on what you like. Avalon Code is different and interesting though, you can manipulate everything by adjusting their "code."
As for the recommendation thread, I rarely check it (maybe I should start), but I do try to answer people's recommendation requests when I see them in individual threads.
So far, I think Aquia might be your best bet for a game that might keep you entertained for more than just a few minutes. It's a cool puzzle game.
You pass the DSi around and take turns. It's probably more interesting with at least 4-5 people. We played with it here.
I think for a starter, Mario & Luigi is more accessible, but I haven't played Partners in Time. Chrono Trigger is a good start too because it's basically a port of a really old game so the mechanics are very straight forward. FFIV is a bit difficult in this version. Pokemon can't be that bad either as a start, but it's kind of in its own genre...

Mario Kart DS... even after a few years, it's still fun with friends.

And then you go online and get snaked to death.....>_>
That's why I said it's fun with friends. I don't play it online, only locally. Never saw the point in playing with random strangers.
