Sometimes I hop into Gamespot to read some stuff, and occasionally I share my opinion on the comment section.

Was really surprised to feel bullied by a moderator, simply by sharing my opinion. Wondering if this is the standard of GameSpot moderators.

I would say Resident Evil 6 is a 4,5 game, but it ain't more than a 6. A little extreme maybe, but maybe not if you actually play it.

Phoenix, this goes beyond the fact that the auth servers are overwhelmed. Have you played? Have you seen the dozens and dozens of bugs that you find on the game? Please. Yes, there is a lot of rage for those who can't connect ot the auth and can't play, but people are also tremendously irritated that a game of this nature, with the past that has, brings this crappy 2002 look alike game.

http://ve3d.ign.com/articles/n...y-Development-Studio-Closed

Quote:
The American Army has closed their publicly-staffed America's Army 3 development studio one day after the free-to-play action-recruitment-sim was launched on Steam. According to Shacknews, development will continue in an office somewhere in Redstone, Alabama, presumably under complete military control (rumours persisted throughout AA3's development of internal discourse, with several high-profile, long-term staffers departing under mysterious circumstances):

"This consolidation will allow us to gain efficiencies between our public and government applications," the representative explained. " We appreciate all the hard work that every member of the America's Army team has contributed to the project, and we look forward to delivering future America's Army game releases in the months ahead."

As for the game itself, the launch has been less than fantastic.

The game is really crappy, I wanna see the ruthless review of gamespot on this...

Greetings.

I'm a big fan of Gamespot for long already, but one thing that I only noticed once! by kevin vanor, was a little more care about how you guys present yourself in front of the camera. It seems that you see yourself, as I would see a gaming site a few years ago, this being "just a gaming site", and I ask myself, don't you strive a little higher?

You guys are relativaly known worldwide, you in a big way set a example for gamers, and appearing every time with a huge beard, with some crazy hear, with some chessy t-shirt, (and the belly doesn't help), what kind of image are you guys passing?

"Hi, we are Gamespot,we are sloppy and yes we have no life, we spend 24/7 playing videogames so we don't have any common sense to buy ourselves some decent cloth, a look decent since I'm a gamer"

I really would like to see a little more professionalism on your part, for you to care more on how you look and how people may judge.

Seriously, would be such a pain to wear a decent, manly shirt sort like vonord used in fear 2 review, a clean shave, clear face, decent haircut, no "I just woke up 1hour ago" haircuts like the guy who reviewed street fighter IV... I would like to see some ambition on wanting to make things better, and the website look ain't all mates, you guys play a big part on it.

cheers.

Greetings.

I want to share my story of portal.

I read the review of portal on gamespot, saw videos, gameplay screenshots, and still was hearing everybody saying that was a great game, one of the top games ever played, and really fell sorry for those people (kiddin), (not) ^^ , anyway, before playing and buying it, I heard the credits music, and in that time I though, ok, tha's a good music, I really enjoyed, but I got over that pretty quickly.

Anyway, I bought the game, and oh my god, I never played a game like this! Ok, I love crysis, I love Cod4, there's a bunch of games that I love for specific reasons, but come on, with a so simple concept, with a huge sense of humor, and so simple levels as well as graphics, I really didn't believe that Portal could be this fun.

Conclusion: This game rules. When I finished the game and hearing that nostalgic song, I'm not saying that I started crying, but I had that feeling... those butterflys in the stomach, you know what I'm talking, and damn it was deep. Portal has a strange, unique and quite beautiful story behind it. Yes! It is a shame that is so short, but somehow that makes it special, and eager for more.

Just wanted to share my portal story, a game to be remembered, and be played four years from now.

Take care.

I don't remember the time that I didn't been playing, since old days I've been a gamer, and I'm just 20.

But well, the 'sleep less' commentary, is totally truth, but hey, it's worth it ^^

But even that, personally I'm good managing time for what I want, I work, I study, I hang out, and still have lots of time to be gaming my lovely last gen games.

Somehow that's true, but the question that is all about, depends most on the person that is playing. Depends if you have the ability to be clear and inparcial on your decision, on your experience.

The same is with game reviews, that's one guy opinion, even if he knows what he's talking about, there are, and there are not people that care for some details that are good or bad to be noticed.

Take care.
