@maxrang: Sorry about the oversight, it's a typo from the standard rules form. But if you read the full article it clearly states: These codes can be redeemed at Battle.net/code. You don't have to worry about the codes expiring and they are not restricted by region! Hopefully, you still tried to enter for a chance to win one of the codes. Best of luck!
@Mogan: Not technically. It depends on the format. In sealed (like what this tournament is) you're given 6 booster packs from the latest set (4 Eldritch Moon, 2 Shadows Over Innistrad) and you build a deck out of what you open up. If you do really well (X:3) you get to move on to day two which is usually draft format. (I play a LOT of Magic.... It's sort of my jam.)
Technically depending on how many people it takes to count as "GameSpot." We've been in attendance for a number of Grands Prix in the US (Pro Tour Qualifiers, World Magic Cup Qualifiers, or the 20k SCG Opens). Not to mention the two largest Magic Tournaments in the 20 year history of the game (GP Vegas 2013 and GP Vegas 2015).
@CallMeDuraSouka: I feel like it's not a question of him being "fat" but rather a matter of weight ratio. For example. A 5 oz. bird could not carry a 1lb. coconut.
