Its a fast paced mech game, not like mech warrior, but it is fun. I've been a fan of the series since AC2 on PS2, and this in ways is better than the others that I've playedm but falls short in ways too. Single player is really short, and the story line is kinda weak. Graphics are good, it support split screen deathmatch, but not co-op, and it does have online which to me is only fun when playing the battle royales, but those are hard to get going(enough players) I wish it was more like the others in the sense that you start off with a base mech and work from there, in this one you get a schematic for a type of mech and then go from there, you can still customize all the parts and stuff, but for me it gives a different feel. To sum it up, its a good game, but I don't think its worth $60, the replay value isnt really there. I would rent it, and not buy it like I did, just a suggestion.
stay far away from the original, its a terrible game. I was curious too because the new one looks so good, but the first one is crap. I got it at game xchange so it was only $15, but it is a game I wish I had never played. Hopefully the new one will be nothing like that one.
