Okay I really want to play this game, but I have a hard time finishing single player games these days. So my question is does the book actually cover the main story of the game, or is it just more story/back story? I'd rather read a book than buy a game I may not finish, I've heard great things about this game's story.

This looks boring to me, which sucks because I really enjoyed the announcement trailer.
