@s3alax: Yup. Which really isn't that good for 1080p gaming. You'd have to turn down the settings a lot in order to be able to play at that for some games. Those looking to get that model should make sure they are okay with that.
I don't understand these things. Why would anyone fall for it? You can easily hook up a external to the xbox one and get more storage. You can get more than a 2TB external and pay less than $100. No sense in trading away your console and losing your data and saves and paying 100$ extra for the same thing.
As for the playstation 4. You can easily buy 2TB laptop hdd or bigger for less than $100 and install that into the ps4.
Gamestop is making around $70 for each person that trades in the console. Plus $100 for anyone that upgrades using this deal. That's almost "half" the price for a new console. That you could instead save. With $170 in your pocket, you can buy one the latest games and a external drive.
@SexyMiralda: Sounds like last gen doesn't it? Where MS had the advantage with third party and the games ran better. Imo, sony needed something like this to happen. I think this will push the battle even further next gen and MS may try to get that advantage back. But both consoles are alright. I don't really care which has the better games or is in the lead for sales, I just care about having games to play on both. That's honestly what it should always boil down to.
@freedom01: Third party can carry it pretty far if its consistent with a mix of good/decent games. You don't always need first party, though it is nice to have it.
@Utnayan: Problem seems to be the engine, needs to be optimized and worked on more. If it means that they have to take a year off to do it, I don't mind. I like the games, but I don't want to see this ruined by bad performance again. That said I'll see how it is on release.
I really hope this means that all the hard work is actually being put towards the next gen games (Xbox One, PS4). I would hate to seem them score low as well. But I still find it very disappointing that they didn't give this game for the Xbox and PS3, the proper treatment it deserves. This game should have been better. This is no way to treat the fans that look forward to these games every year.
@korvus Yeah I wish the HD Quality was actually HD. It looks be a very compressed vid. That said, I've seen some nice looking vids, quality wise. I wonder why its different with gameplay ones.
I'm looking forward to 2k15 though, I love the myplayer on these games. I got my hands on the ps4 version of 2k14 recently. Its very different from the xbox 360/ps3 versions. I also find it way too easy to get your player rating up. Mid way through the season and my guy is an 82 already. I want it to take longer to reach that rating like on the previous versions. I hope 15 fixes that.
