Even in a thread where hellblade gets a 6 cows get reked 😂🤣

Keep coping. The fact that you're here instead of playing the game says a lot. 🤣🤣🤣

You just pointed out 1 of a several games I'm looking forward to from Microsoft Game Studios

Now do the same for Sony Game studios.

PS5 already had a bunch of exclusives to play this year. Hope waiting 4 years for this 4 hour walking sim was worth it. (Spoilers: It wasn't)

I too am bummed that Sony's first party studios haven't developed a game for us since Spider-Man in October of 2023. So we get GaaS multiplatform Concord later this year and Wolverine in 2026? AMAZING line up.

Still have no idea what Concord even is.

I think there's an Astrobot game in there too. It's been a whirlwind of games so far this year for us cows. Imagine waiting several years for a short game with no replay value like Hellblade 2 though. Ouch.

Sadly, us cows haven't had any games made by Sony since October of 2023 and there are no dates in sight for our next one 😟

What's the obsession with games having to be made by their first party studios?

If you want PlayStation games then why not look for games that are simply published by PlayStation? They have teams and support studios that help build those games as well.

I legitimately ask because it always comes off like folks only want games from *some* of their first party studios. I can't find another reason seeing that most of their first party studios have already released games this generation.

I am trying to stay consistent with the SW rules. MS/Xbox has been lambasted for not developing first party games. Just trying to keep it fair you know?

SW hat off: @Nonstop-Madness you realize this is SW, and you know me. And I love you.

SW hat on: Will Sony ever release a game again?

In sad news, PlayStation closed their London Studios today :(. Who is next? Naughty Dog? I am not liking the direction Sony has been taking our PlayStation. They don't release games, close studios and want to be 3rd party.

RIP

@kvallyx: Correction as of now Flopbade is an 81 MC

Not too far from Flopdivers 2 then. But when I posted that, I was quoting the 83 on Opencritic.

35%+ of gamepass games score same or higher than Sony's biggest release this year.

nearly 60% of gamepass games score higher than 75% making them a good game by the TC own measurements

less than 14% is lower than 70% making only 14% being shovelware by TC own measurements.

so what xbox game scored higher in 2024 over sony exclusives in 2024?

The only first party game that Sony has had out this year is Helldivers 2, which has an 83. Hellblade 2 is an 83. 🤷‍♂️

steller blade is at 9.4. it counts because you can't play it on any other console or pc. gamers see this even if system wars does not.

We are talking about Sony first party games that they developed, as well as MS first party games that they developed. Helldivers 2 has an 83, as does Hellblade 2.

“Combat in Hellblade 2 feels not just like an afterthought, but virtually non-existent. In fact, I'd argue that the end result feels similar to a quick-time event, yet more tedious.”

I’m not even sure I’m gonna try this game out. Those are some of my biggest gaming turnoffs

Loving it so far. And that says a lot coming from me, a prolific cow.
