Sweet advertisement for Alienware, guys. Love the porny turntable shots of the box too. Just like how the lines between PC and console are blurring, it is becoming impossible to tell the difference between games journalism and a commercial.
Thanks for the review, @Kevin-V ! This game has some rough edges, to be sure, but it's definitely worth a play. I'm sure the folks who poured their time, talent, and hearts into it appreciate the professional review too.
Playing the JP release at the moment, and enjoying it a lot. Very different from the first two XIII games. Also pretty tough so far, even on easy mode.
Fantastic. I have a wired 360 controller that Windows 7 *no longer supports* according to the MS tech people I've talked to. So I will be delighted to use a PS4 controller with my PC.
I really don't get the obsession with resolution when there are so many more types of eye candy. Try this: play something like the Witcher 2 on PC with the highest graphical settings and resolution set to 1280x720 (no AA). Then play it again with the graphics at Medium and res bumped up to 1920x1080. In my mind there is no contest--lower res and higher quality looks better every time. Maybe this is just me.
Said one Microsoft executive, "Yes, purchasing iPads at $200 and selling them at a premium on eBay is the lynchpin to making Surface profitable." Adding, "Frankly, the whole Surface thing would be a laughable failure without this."
