@cugabuh: I really like The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners! To kill a zombie, you really have to force a knife into their skull, and then you need to grab their head for leverage to get it out. Definitely check out some gameplay to see if it's your thing!
"All of the PS4 games we tested showcased frame rates in line with or, in some cases, improved over the original console--no PS5-compatibility patch required."
@G-Legend: I 100% agree! Different people are going to test different games and notice different things. It's important to get a well-rounded picture from multiple people. I highly recommend checking out Digital Foundry on YouTube. They do great, super detailed tech breakdowns and were pretty positive on backwards compatibility. I am also very positive about PS5 backwards compatibility, it just has some small issues here and there.
@stealthy1: I didn't say they have their own story, I said you can complete each goal with every character. Every skater has the same goals in the original games, but you can play through and complete those goals with each character. In Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2, you can't. Once you've completed a goal, it's completed for every skater.
@stealthy1: You misunderstand my review. Every skater has the same goals in the original games, but you can play through and complete those goals with each character. In Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2, you can't. Once you've completed a goal, it's completed for every skater.
@skyhighgam3r: I do mention grind and manual transitions, the latter of which is what you're referring to in regards to Rodney Mullen.
Also, I'm very familiar with this series. I own every single Tony Hawk game and almost all variations of them--still keeping an eye out for American Wasteland on 360 and Downhill Jam on DS. However, what you're asking me to do is list out all of the features this game has, but I'm not here to read the back of the box to you--I'm here to tell you how it feels to play Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2. I also didn't want to spoil the secret character. It was a pleasant surprise when I found out, so I wanted it to be one for everyone else playing for the first time.
As far as 2X goes, those bonus levels weren't designed by Neversoft, and I purposely mentioned at the beginning of the second paragraph that 1 + 2 "revamps the levels and skaters of the first two games" for this reason.
@faithxvoid: Hey, I have no idea what you mean by aggressive? I just pointed out that the things you were upset about were addressed in my article. The only reason I added a smiley face was to let you know I wasn't mad.
Also, don't worry about us. GameSpot is doing great! We're kicking ass every month.
