Well worst game I ever played : quite a lot, I even forgot most of their names but one was BMX XXX or something for ps2 and another was a truck racing game.

Worst game in the last three years: infamous, army of two and viking hands down.

Can somebody explain what the point is of Portal? From what I watched of a guy streaming himself playing Portal 2, it was just running around and shooting 2 portals to walk through and move objects. Now I like the concept and the Physics were cool but the game got boring after like 10 minutes. I mean it was hardly no action at all. Can somebody explain what makes Portal 2 fun and what is the point of it?nini200

Na you completely missed the point of the game, its a puzzle game, and each level is a puzzle in order to get through you have to solve the puzzle (the puzzle in question is the cryptic road that can only be used by using portals hence he has a portal gun. hope i could make you understand) If you are looking for puzzles and action then go play God of War series and/or Prince of Persia. This one is just for puzzles not action. It is not hyped, it is a very innovative game offering something completely new hence it got such high ratings and praise. Just rent and play it and see if you like it.

[QUOTE="dvader654"]For all we know this will cause the next PS to have less features and maybe a online system you have to pay for. There s ZERO good in this. It hurts every one and gets nothing done.UpInFlames

Maybe the next PlayStation will actually be a thought-out system unlike the PS3 which represents a string of poor decion-making and needless adding/removing features during the actual course of the generation (BC, Home, trophies, Linux, etc, etc.). And maybe Sony (and everyone else, for that matter) will realize that trying to sue individuals over hacking or piracy is a complete and utter waste of time and money and only makes them look powerless and desperate. The outcome was hilarious, Sony made a DEAL with GeoHot which basically amounts to "nothing happened, let's all go on our merry way".

Actually this one was a well thought out system hence it took 4 years to crack.

[QUOTE="megadeth1984"]

[QUOTE="Ilikemyname420"] They are copied to HD simply because there ARE pirates who use jailbreak to play pirated games but mainly it's because they are uninformed idiots who just follow news (and the hype like that created around here) while begging the hacker community for help for the simplest crap (which most real hackers hate BTW).

Most of these pirates just heard about jailbreak and figured that was the ONLY way to pirate and frankly if you are against piracy you should be thankful. These idiots are basically ruining their own machines at least for what they intended it for(piracy). Jailbreak is not piracy firmware period. If they load that stuff onto their machines just to do that, they've basically just shot themselves in the foot. They will be so limited it shouldn't even be worth it to them (because of the reasons I listed in my first post in this thread). Yet it's these dumbasses who keep doing it and giving a bad name to anyone jailbreaking their PS3's for legit reasons (and trust me there are way more than some people on this site want to think).

There's a better method they could use but most hackers would be damned if we ever actually give them the damn method considering the majority of us don't use it ourselves because we actually respect the people who make our games.

Ilikemyname420

Each game is marked with some sensors wherever PS3 games are produced. PS3 detects this before starting the game. A copied game doesn't have these so it wont run. You can ask any hacker. and there is no legit reason for jailbreaking, cause it breaks the security code. Its like saying you broke into an atm booth to check your balance (for some reason if banks stop showing balance on it) and by doing so you are leaving it free for any one to withdraw money or ride it. No matter how you turn it, its illegal.

anyway lets get back on topic.

Again that's complete BS. They can copy ANY and all protection on the disc. What can you not get about that? There is not some magical sensor on the disc that can never be copied but can somehow be read by the PS3. Again I have no clue how you're coming up with this stuff.

And there are legit reasons for jailbreaking. If I'm not playing pirated software I'm NOT breaking the law period. The system is mine the software I'm putting on it is not copyright. There isn't a single law that says I don't have the right to do it.

OMG ok do a copy and send it to me ? kapish? if it works then I will give you a 100 dollars. Until you do it and make it work. just shut up.

This is random chatter from gaf, not sure how accurate any of this is: Christ... that may mean that their network was totally compromised. If they still can't rule out the possibility of personal information being stolen then it is a good possibility that the people who hacked the network had access to whatever they wanted. Also, I have never heard of a company completely rebuilding a network after a successful hack. That may be due to ignorance but I really dont see the point in completely rebuilding a network unless that was just non-technical PR talk. If it is true then it seems like a definite possibility that the hackers did irreversible damage to the backend of the PSN. If that is the case, this week seems entirely out of the question. ... Rebuilding the network is actually the safest way to get things back online as soon as possible. It's faster to assume nothing is secure than to find every possible action and backdoor the hackers may have installed. Of course, they'll want to find and fix the "hole" used to gain access to their system in the first place. Otherwise you're just doing a lot of work for nothing, as you could be hacked again as soon as the new systems are online. ... Depends on what they are doing with the information or how they are distributing the information to buyers. However, for sony to not know whether information has been stolen a week after the PSN went down means that their engineers are most likely totally screwed and their network got completely owned. So Sony is screwed?dvader654

Sounds like it and in ways I think we are as well. Cause simply to make Sony completely rebuild the system, something drastic must have happened. And yes I can confirm from other sources accounts were compromised both of gamers and developers. However the credit card details won't be as they were encrypted. But it will take about upto Thursday to I think reach and end. F**K You Anonymous and Geo Hotz and all the crap lowlifes.
