I love the game; but there is some broken stuff about this game.

I've never watched the Anime or read the Manga. I have been meaning too. I wanted to do that before playing this game, but I just couldn't wait any longer. Sorry for the rambling, let me get to the point:

The game isn't too hard, I can win the fights by button mashing, and I kind of understand how it works. However I feel like I really don't have a good understanding of how the fighting system works. I know I can hit Triangle then attack and it does some special attacks, and so on. But I don't quite have a good grasp on this fighting system. I don't want to win my way through the game just by hitting buttons, I actually want to learn how to play strategic wise.

The game doesn't do a great job of explaining the controls. No tutorial or anything really. Does anybody know a link for a good Tutorial, or can someone possibly explain to me exactly how the fighting system works, other than just mashing Triangle and Circle, and occasionally R1 and L1 and so on. I don't quite get it.

I know Storm games isn't that big a deal to many people; however, the tournament that B-Lit put together was a really creative and fresh idea for Storm games. Most people usually post rank matches and typical rage quit videos. I am not saying that it is bad; because a lot of the content from some well known players is great. But this tourny B-Lit put together was really fun and entertaining. Due to a number of issues he may not do another tournament. Based on his video he did give some really good reasons why. Only with more outside support will he be able to put up more quality content like this tournament. Check it out! You will not be disappointed. If you like it; then try to spread the word to other players, forums, or through any other means you can think of.

Hey if you want some help. I don't mind lending a hand through matches.  I enjoy helping others who want to enjoy the game the right way.  I can share a lot of useful things.  There are too many spammers out there, so I either play with legit friends I made or help others get better at the game. 

You can only do air blocks with a single jump.  Blocking with ninja movement doesn't work.  Just hold the block button while you jump one time.  There is no time involved.  You can jump block in any direction; however you can only jump once.  If you hit jump twice while moving you will ninja move; therefore you are vulnerable due to the fact that you cannot guard during a ninja move.  If you need help playing this game; then I can help you by sharing some useful tips and tricks.  I am not a pro at this game; but I want to help those who want to enjoy this game the right way.  I get bored and annoyed playing spammers; so helping other players get better and become more legit is far more enjoyable for me.

Both the 1st and 2nd Hokages are playable characters in multiplayer. There's roughly 90 playable characters for multiplayer. Pretty much every major and minor character in the 4th Great Ninja War Arc is playable in this game. It's going to be amazing.

I just wish the 1st Hokage wasn't so underwhelming moves wise.  I mean his moveset isn't as awesome as it should be.  He is known as the God of Shinobi; but his moveset really doesn't quite live up to that.  Despite the bull CC2 pulled I am still looking forward to playing a new Naruto game.  

For those that have seen some of this game, can you pick from the giant roster and play the game through with that character or can you only do bits and pieces with most of them? I'm not really a fan of Naruto himself, but when I read that this had like 80 some-odd playable characters it had me interested. Swedish_Chef

ITS ALL A LIE!!!!  I wish it was true; but that was a lie.  Especially since five plus of the characters are support only.  And rebalanced and rehashed PTS characters make a return to waste valuable space.   Mah.

I also like how the TC mentioned how great DBZ Budokai 3 is.  To me DBZ Budokai 3 was the best DBZ game ever created due to how epic the moves were, the game was balanced, and down right fun to play.  The moves and cinematic gameplay in that game really had that DBZ feel that a lot of the other games were missing.  If the DBZ Budokai HD collection had an online mode I would be playing that just as much as I will be playing Storm 3.
