As the title says, I am new to PC gaming, I recently got a laptop with a C2D 7500, 4gb ram and a 8600 gt. Not the most powerful, but I can't complain witha 3kg laptop that can run new games decently.

Anyways I'm a bit overwhelmed and am not sure what to buy (buy from eb, install and return it for a full refund)

I currently have Cod 4 (love it), crysis (god made it), Assassins creed( repetitive but fun) and gears of war ( haveb't played it yet), and some older games like fifa 06/wc3/wow

i don't really have that much time, like 1 hour tops in one sitting. Can sins of the solar empire be enjoyed as much in smaller bites? I am traditionally quite bad at RTS, and it sorta ruins it for me, but is World in Conflict accessible enough for sucha nubcake ):

I am thiking of picking up Bioshock soon, but other than that I'm not really sure what to buy.

Also is Crysis online as entertaining as COD 4 online, hardly anyone seems to play Crysis online, is it because its not good, or is it because Crysis isn't selling as well?

Senator Obama won all three states today, including Washington, Nebraska, and Louisiana. Hes less than 90 delegates away from Hilliary, who has 1,083 to Obama 1,009. Hopefully Obama will win the democrats nominee, but didn't Nostradamus talk about u.s having a women president around this time? AndrewStar101

Actually take away super-delegates whos allegiance can slide, he's winning I'm pretty sure.

Death to clinton !

  • Will a color deficit prevent me from becoming a pilot?Good color vision is important for recognizing various lights and signals important to a pilot, especially at night. In the United States, the FAA requires all pilots to have 'the ability to perceive those colors necessary for the safe performance of airman duties.

So if I am able to see the colors that are neccesary to becoming a pilot but cant see others, will I still be able to become a pilot? Im pretty sure that the only color I really cant see is beige.khuz

I'm pretty sure I heard you have to have 20/20 vision, with no sight problems throught your life.

Hey you are flying things in the 9 digit column!

I am vietnamese, and the languages are very very different.

Vietnamese has letters based on the french alphabet with accents and such. It also uses the french sentence structure: adjective-subject- like nuoc nom- water hot, rather than hot water.

It's also quite nasal and throaty as someone else mentioned earlier. I suppose if you had a background in French, it would help alot!

Japanese is based off the chinese character system, with characters forming sort of syllables, which are strung in columns to make words sorta.

Very different!

here in australia we have the HSC, which is a far better indication of your abilities.

You take 10+ units, with up to 4 in maths and english. Most subjects are 2 units. These marks are then weighted, based on the merit of the test, to give you your UAI. The UAI starts at 30 and ends at a 100 with a median mark of 67.

So if you got 99+ you're in the top1% of the state effectively.
