I guess when I say gambling, I mean more the spread of casinos, because that's more of what my paper is about. In 1978 there were casinos in two states. There are now casinos in 19 states. So maybe rephrase the gambling portion to "the proliferation of gambling."

I'm currently working on a research paper and I'm having difficulty finding an answer to this question.

So, if you had to ban alcohol, smoking (just tobacco), or the proliferation gambling which one would you pick?

Your answers in the poll are much appreciated and will help steer me the in right direction for my paper.

Also, please feel free to discuss it and elaborate on why you chose what you did. Any and all ideas are helpful for me.

Thanks a bunch guys!

Problems still aren't fixed. I still can't vote for funniest game and Best Implementation of User-Generated Content and many of the votes I had previously cast are no longer remembered. It forgot ALL my votes in every Dubious Honor's category. Something tells me I won't be getting my emblem this year....

Edit: I still can not vote for best driving, best fighting, best role-playing, and best puzzle games as well. I think I'm on my fourth time voting and this thing still isn't fixed.

I am also having trouble with voting. Like you, I have voted for most of the special achievement awards, but it seems any other award after that is not working. I click on vote, and it kind of refreshes the page, and then if I click on vote again, I get a nice little 404 error :( Caddy06_88
This is the same problem I am having. I just tried voting again and Funniest Game, Best Driving Game, and Best PS3 game didnt work. Everything else did.

Edit: Forgot to add that I'm using Vista and I tried FF 3 and Google Chrome.

ive just been informed by the radio GM that this computer is not connecting to just one offline computer but 2 others as well.

Here's the situation:

Broadcast computer is connected to college network for internet. All 3 computer are networked together using a router with no internet connection. For some reason, the broadcast computer will not connect to the internet now, even though it detects both networks. Any thoughts?

[QUOTE="zackattack784"]

I'm doing the wiring for the computer in our radio station at school. The computer is connected to the main college network (ie internet, network drives). We also need to connect to another computer that is behind locked doors to access music from it. This connection can not be connected to the internet. How can I establish two networks on this computer?

Thanks,

Zack

I just bought a 360 and want to use it with my PC monitor, which supports HDMI.

I am going to play the sound through my PC speakers. I am going to buy a 3rd part HDMI cable (a lot cheaper). Can I use the included AV cable and use just the red and white RCA plugs for the sound? or do I have to buy the official Microsoft HDMI kit to be able to seperate the sound from the video?

Thanks
