The game has pretty good graphics for a PS4 survival game, the scenery in the game is pretty amazing at first and is very inviting to the eye. When you first start there is very little to go off with what your end goal in the game even is. It has the basic survival traits ( food, water, shelter, etc) and can be tricky to maintain these stats considering the game will not tell you how, Water being the main issue as there are no freshwater ponds of water on any island that I have come across. The only source of water is coconuts that will make you sick. You can hunt animals but the aiming is impossible considering you will miss a crab with a knife or spear. You also can get poisoned by fish or snakes right off the start of the game even though you can't create an antidote until you level up...... making it impossible to survive and do the main goal of the game. Which is to loot the same shipwrecks over and over while once in awhile dealing with a shark. There are main bosses on the map, which you will have to find yourself and be in for arguably the most redundant boss fights after stocking up on spears.
Honestly the game has great potential, the graphics are good, game is challenging, and the idea is great. The actual game play itself is very mediocre, lazy and needs a lot of work. There also is no option for multiplayer or any real reason to collect things in the game as making a base is pointless because its all just random tiny islands.
Hopefully they can tweek a lot of things and make it a worthwhile survival game.
