This game is one of the founders of the side-scrolling beat-em-up, you play as either Mike Haggar, the mayor of the town from who his daughter Jessica has been kidnapped, or as Cody, Jessica's boyfriend. I prefer Haggar, but that is my opinion. You walk through 5 levels of fighting, fighting and some more fighting, on the way you get some weapons which you can pick up, throw or leave there on the floor. Each level has a boss, which all have a certain ability, this game is a pretty hard game, because sometimes you just get pinned in a corner and get beaten up. Yet this game is a classic in my opinion and one of the better beat-em-ups.
