What are peoples views on Peter Moore? He's been round the block a few times!killeryoda85

He seems to have more of an influence of console makers with his work at Sega and MS, and less on individual games... but maybe I don't know his whole history.

We're never going to actually agree on a single "most influential" character, because with the exception of the creator of video games, everybody's going to cite somebody who did something related before they did it.

However, I'm willing to rule out Miyamoto immediately because he's had little to no impact on the PC gaming. If you're going to try to decide a single "most influential person to gaming," then it has to be someone who influenced all games, not just a specific segment of the market. PC gaming didn't crash like the home console market it did, so Miyamoto/Nintendo had, while restoring the home console market, didn't restore gaming because gaming never went away.
