Gran Turismo 7 out now!

What's your interest level in Gran Turismo 7, SW? And what will you think it will score on GS and MC? I'm more of a casual racing fan, especially with sims. I think the die hards will love it. As for regular people like me, probably 8 or 9 lol.

Well no way it will score less than GT Sport, Polyphony’s all time low 75. PD seems to have gone down hill like Bungie.

Real racers play Mario Kart.

Looks to me like a great game, won’t say it’s going to be better than FH5, but it’ll be good.

I used to like the GT series back on the PS2.

To me, they just got stale and clinical over the years, rarely innovating or making changes to the gameplay.

Hopefully they found a way to make the license tests more interesting. Why not add Stuntman-like driving sequences as a part of the test?

Based on what I've seen so far I'd have to say 7-8 score.

If it's better then GT Sport is at this stage (lots of content and fantastic gameplay) I'll be sold. I just really want a freaking PS5 already!!!

Fun fact. There hasn't been a single gt game that has reviewed better than forza unless you go back to gt2 on the psx when racing games were still blocks.

Will gt finally be decent is the question.

@blaznwiipspman1: Gran Turismo 3 scored a 95...that was on the PS2. It outscored Forza Motorsport 1-5.

@vfighter: that was before forza even released, when standards for racing games were rock bottom. You either had gt or nothing. Then when forza finally released, it was like revelation....no REDEFINED. Then a gt game never scored more than 85 or more than forza again.

You can see this even here. A lot of cows are staying quiet about this game, to avoid the blow back when it loses to forza again. HAHA.

I'm not sure why. It's never been particularly good.

Don’t have a PS4 or PS5 right now but regardless I have no interest in getting GT7. The Forza Motorsport games are more to my liking and are enough to satisfy my sim driving/racing needs.

Is there any talk of this supporting the PSVR 2 headset? It should be a no brainer, surely.

Anywho yes looking forward to this. its one of the reasons i want a PS5. though PS5 stocks where i am are still pants and i kinda want to see if it gets a PC port so i wont be getting it day one.

But i do plan to get it.

The last GT I played was 4, which was almost identical to 3. I don't even know why I bought 5. I'm passing on 7. FH4 was so much fun. Still waiting to get FH5. I'm sure gearheads will love it, though.

I'm excited to try out the Dual Sense features plus the 3D audio features.

Not for me I find driving sims boring AF but each to their own I just want a new Burnout game.

I love racing games, but GT7 launch is....

There are so many good options these days. Nothing special about Gran Turismo.

Really looking forward to this but I can see it scoring a 6 or 7 here. Just based on it being not easy enough like a arcade game like forza. I don't think gamespot has the patience for a game like gran turismo. It will be the definitive racing game for real drivers though. Nothing against forza,but Gran Turismo is a simulation and Forza is like Burnout or need for speed.

I'm looking forward to playing it. Unfortunately, I don't have a PS5, so I have to settle for the PS4 version. It's still going to look dynamite, though. It's a game that's going to keep me busy for months. It might become my favourite racing game of all time.
