Feels a bit weird uploading cutscenes shots but It's Fire Emblem what else can I show? 😅
I went looking for the old screenshot thread not realizing it was locked and this thread was stickied on the front page.
Anyway I finally got back into GuJian 3.
@lebanese_boy: have no idea why it does that (Steam f12 screenshots) the game itself doesn't look anything like that of course. In VR it's less crisp than on flat screen, but it feels like you are there and it's awesome. I like headlooking in combat - it's not just more immersive but also more interactive - head on a swivel, here comes another one

I normally use Nvidia GeForce Experience screenshot and it does a really good job at capturing pics without being narrow but never tested out on a VR game. If you have GeForce Experience, you should give the screenshot a try is my recommendation. I have never use Steam screenshot so can't comment on my experience.
@davillain-: I've only ever used the windows screenshot shortcut, I like Geforce Exp. when it comes to record video.
Started playing the Spider-Man DLC (no, not Milles Morales :P)
BTW anybody knows of an actual easy way to transfer screens from a PS4? I was honestly surprised at how unintuitive it is.
@lebanese_boy:
I see you posted that from your PS app, so... what about just copying it to your USB drive? xD
IIRC, you can only store PNG screenshots on your drive and only these nasty JPEG shitz are being uploaded... So it's better to just stick to the good ol' USB drive.
/EDIT: JPEG is the default format for screenshots on PS4, so maybe you should re-check your settings and change it to PNG (aka best quality).
Thanks to WESTBLADE's guidance I was able to get better screen shots with a simpler way of transferring from my PS4.
Overall I prefer the Switch's screenshot system to the PS4, by a lot.
Anyways the Spider-Man DLC was quite short but still sweet and worth it. I'll definitely get the Miles Morales game (eventually).
Some Halo: Infinite 32:9 screenshots I stole.
Not the best looking "next-gen" title, but it's not awful either.
EDIT:
Some modded Valhalla for good measure.
@BenjaminBanklin: What PS4 game are you playing?
Imagine bringing console war bullshit to the screenshot thread
@Pedro: I don't know - I'm only a few hours in so far. It's ok. I do like that it isn't random encounters every 3 feet like FFX. But it also feels less engrossing. We shall see - "free" on GP so I don't feel guilty if I say screw it and never finish

Probably I didn't buy it. There is a blur between games I own and ones that I play on GamePass.
It's Returnal Time... Time... Time...
NGL, game looks great. Though i noticed that weird pixelation on the mud/goo surrounding the dead body. Can't tell if it's intentional or a texture/normal map glitch...🤔
@WESTBLADE85: Maybe that's DOF acting up?
I doubt that, it's tied to that specific material. I've seen many similar glitches (spent a few years doing scratch-made mods for racing games) and all of them ended up being either corrupt bump/normal map or just a random glitch.
I'm just wondering if it's a deliberate effect (e.g. enemies or world being pixelated/digitalized) or just a random glitch. It's just that i don't like searching way too much info on games (and movies, books, shows...) i want to buy to avoid as many spoilers as possible and in that particular screenshot it's the first thing i noticed and found it really distracting...
