As for Remnant, well fakeboy hasn't even played it, he watched a "friend" play it on Twitch for a couple of hours (his words not mine) and didn't like the aesthetics, what an artsy snob. More like it was too hard for him 🤣

ye the first one was great fun in co-op, bit rough at spots but still fun, 2nd seems more polished and having watched a bit of dev stream, they have improved a lot that people were asking for after the first game

Nothing really, I like old games. I'll eventually get MK1, the Metal Gear stuff, Starfield, Mario RPG, FFVII when they're finished aka all the DLC is released in a complete edition which will probably be in 5 years. I'm not impatient with games, I will wait until they are done. I was excited for SF6 but actually since I've been playing 5, I'm not excited for it anymore. 4 was the last good one. Now when I turn on 5, it's like update, update, loads, loads, messages, messages, online crap I don't care about, more messages, logging into mandatory servers, it's like are you shitting me? Get out of here with all that bloated crap, 6 will be worse I'm sure.

Pre-order bonues, pre-loading the game, early access, etc. If it's a game I know I'm going to play Day-1, I'll pre-purchase it.

Pre order bonuses are always pointless crap you will throw away within the first hour of playing the game. Pre loading the game makes sense if you have a slow internet speed, but you most likely don't. Barely any games have the early access, so its not much of an advantage.

The only real advantage is through key sites, since you can get most games for 20-30% off when pre ordering (pc games only).

The only truth is that you're constantly bitchin' at me, and no, it doesn't hurt at all.

Its a generic Korean game that attracts their players with oversized boobs, while riding the souls hype train. Zero originality or passion went into this, its just a sterile souls clone #231234345. Probably will include $20-30 "armor" sets on their mtx store that are much more revealing than the standard armor.

Whenever I see this question being ask, there's a reason. Assuming he pre-orders his games on the digital side, the benefit of pre-ordering digitally is for the pre-downloads which they do come in handy to be ready to play at the stroke of midnight release. Some gamers pre-order for the collection stuff on the physical side.

I don't understand why few gamers continue asking why pre-order. Because we have our reasons and I also have only 2 games pre-order on the PC as I stated above why.

@davillain: But most games are released during the week, so why would you be up at midnight waiting on a game unless you're unemployed or are chucking a sickie?

I pre-order sometimes if they offer a steel book for it. Also if I have the money and I know I am going to buy it day one I sometimes pre-order then too.

Have you ever thought that maybe he considers you not worthy of his time? The reason why there's no Xbox games on his list is because Xbox games have been inferior for a long, very long time, so its only normal that he doesn't include them on that list.

The content van vary wildly, from in-game tangible items (good faction content for a Total War game), or negligible skins (like Company of Heroes 3). Even with a relatively decent internet, it can take hours to download a 125GB game for example. Not every game having early access is meaningless because I don't pre-purchase every single game. And yeah, the game's I preordered this year - Diablo 4, Total War Pharoah, and Starfield all have/had early access.

It's an AA game, so the price point is on point.

$70 here in Oz. That's a great price, and hopefully I get 200 hours out of it like I did the first game.
