Just my cup tea or cup of ass handing awsomeness
most reviews are far too hard on these type of games especially this one. I personally enjoyed devil kings and am very happy with heroes. My brothers and I have spent hours laying waste to enemies in this game we switch ... Read Full Review

This better than average beat-'em-up doesn't rewrite the aged formula, but manages to be fun in spite of that.
Positive - Stylish, fun and straightforward combat - Plenty of great playable characters to use - Great looking cinematics Negative - Small battlefields, minimal objectives making each level of chore to repeat a n... Read Full Review

A two man army defeating throngs of mindless soldiers in a fun and relaxing way.
This game is a beat'em up so, as the genre would suggest, all you do is beat up a lot of drones aimlessly running around. Still this game is not without it's charms. Story: Caught in the middle of the fight to unify... Read Full Review

Sengoku Basara itself isn't necessarily a bad game, but it doesn't do enough to differentiate itself from Koei's games
Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes is a hack-and-slash game released by Capcom and is set during the Sekigahara campaign between 1598 and 1603 A.D. which featured a major battle between Ieyasu Tokugawa and Mitsunari Ishida. ... Read Full Review

When i got Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes, i first thought "Great. another hard game just like Devil Kings" but it was actually very close to it's Japanese brother, Sengoku Basara 3. (the difference to me was the obvious... Read Full Review

Not just a Dynasty Warrior clone. Depth is here for those who care to look.
I am afraid that the diagnosis of "shallow" and "mindless" are ill-founded. The game play is fairly deep in comparison to the competition in this genre. The branching plot system alone is a massive step in a great direct... Read Full Review

Bottom line, if you want this game but better Play Dynasty warriors/samurai Warriors by Koei and skip this one.
This game is just horrible o.o Its like a cheap version of Koei's Samurai Warriors aka Sengoku Basara. It is most absolutely not enjoyable and just constant button smashing brainless, tiring repetition. Gameplay: Ve... Read Full Review

Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes, may be a dynasty warriors clone, but it's one hell of a party.
I recently saw ign's 4.5 on this game, and figured i should do something about this. Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes is basically a clone of Dynasty Warriors, BUT! just despite that it is I had plenty of fun with this and... Read Full Review
