It depends on the game. 5-8 hour linear shooters are usually very low on my list and I will wait for a price drop. Give me a game that has depth and replay-ability and I will pay full price for the work that has gone into it.

Never been interested in the GTA series at all.
System Wars's very educated and well thought out facts (not opinions of course) made me see the real light about the Wii U. I returned my console right away! :P
Picked up the Walking Dead and Dragon Age: Origins on PC after seeing them on flash sales for steam. I put countless hours into the PS3 version of DA when it first came out and I'm rather enjoying playing through it once again. I can see myself fooling around with mods and future characters a ton. Definitely one of, if not my favorite game of this gen.
Decided to pick up the Spec Ops / Bioshock bundle on Amazon because I wanted Spec Ops anyways. Might as well grab it at a cheaper price and add two games as well. Didn't really enjoy Bioshock when I first tried it out but I'm willing to give it a second chance.
Also picked up Lord of the Rings: War in the North off of Amazon for $5. Even with mixed reviews, it seems like a decent enough game for a good hack and slash with RPG elements built into it.
- Dragon Age: Origins
- Portal 2
- Xenoblade Chronicles
- Darksiders
- Journey
I don't think I can resist The Walking Dead again. Probably will pick that up when it goes on a daily deal and hopefully run away from temptation of everything else!
I can't stop throwing money at my screen. Make something happen with it already!
I wouldn't be crushed but Pikmin 3 is going to be the Wii-U system seller for me. I don't see how it could happen but if it isn't as good as the previous ones, I'll probably be disappointed.
I usually give most of the money to the charities in these bundles but it seems like THQ is grasping for any money at all to stay alive. Either way, it's a great bundle indeed.
Purchased Defender's Quest and having a ton of fun with it! Also picked up Orcs Must Die 2 complete since I liked the first one a lot.
