I thought it was a pretty good year for gaming. Since I live in NA, we just got Xenoblade Chronicles and The Last Story. Both very good JRPG's for this gen. I also enjoyed Torchlight II, Diablo III, Guild Wars 2, Darksiders II, and Mass Effect 3. Definitely not a bad year at all.

I'll never pay for online service on a gaming platform. So I'll just continue to use PC, Sony, and Nintendo.

Even though I played some games on the NES, I wasn't really into gaming until I played Earthbound / FFVI on SNES. Those two games just immersed me in such grand worlds at the time. That's also why I hold them in such high regard as my favorite games of all time.

You're comparing a fairly new system with one that has been out for a long time, of course the DS is going to have more quality games.Toxic-Seahorse

Pretty much this. I've been lucky however as I never owned a DS, so I'm using this time to catch up on some great DS RPG's with my 3DS as I wait for Nintendo to release more games for their handheld.

Hope the numbers continue to be good for Bravely Default so a chance at localization will be better.

It took me around 25 hours to complete my first run-through on my Veteran Berserker. Did full map explorations and all side quests as well.

But it's more then just doing one playthrough of the story, it's about going into new maps via Mapworks or doing New Game + to max out your character with even better loot. Also there are so many other builds and characters to explore in this game. So much content for just $20!

None in that poll. Tochlight II takes my vote.

Enjyoing Torchlight II much more then Diablo 3. I'm getting excited about creating new and future builds on different characters and I still have to finish my first playthrough. :P I can see countless hours going into this game.

Only about 3-4 hours into it currently but it's been well worth the wait. The combat feels smooth and satisfying with a great ton of loot. Can't wait to dive into it a bit more this weekend!
