One little thing that might be overlooked into why PC gaming is the most enjoyable to game on then any other platform is gaming on a monitor I feel so much more immersed in a game on my desktop then I do when I play my PS4 on my TV. Does anybody else feel this way? I'm playing the new God of War on my PS4 and boy do I miss my monitor and mouse and keyboard. I know I would enjoy this game so much more if it was on the PC.

I don't know of any router that will do QOS automatically.

So I redownloaded Hitman 2016 recently and loaded up Sapienza in 4k, and I wasn't expecting the framerate to be so high at 2160p considering the graphical fidelity. It never once dipped below 60. What other games have similar fidelity while still running like butter? I definitely haven't experienced the same from the likes of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided or Dishonored 2, but I've heard those are on the unoptimized side of the spectrum.

Just wondering I usually put the router settings for consoles to get open connection. Just wonder if I should bother with pc? Should I change the DNS also? I usually go for the google dns for consoles seems good to me. It's just for pc I think may be to much since there is way to many programs and stuff to deal with that is why I don't touch it much.

I need a laptop for personal use like schooling, but I'd also like it to be powerful enough for me to play games on. I'm not talking about extreme level gaming, obviously a PC is the best way to go, but I'd like to be able to play older gen games and new games. Any suggestions as far as Mac vs Windows? I'm incredibly uneducated on laptops in general. Price is around 1K or less.
