Same, I had it for the PC to play PS Now (can't remember what the new name for that is).

But the increase is too drastic for my use. I can't pay for premium just to use it for cloud gaming.

I used to be able to get a yearly sub for around £45, now I think it's around 2 or 3 times that, I think.

Nah, I’m a retro gamer, don’t think about that stuff when I put a game on.

Although 50Hz on old consoles in PAL regions is a huge pain in the ass. It means all our old consoles run games slower than intended.

30fps isn’t ideal, but it’s still playable for me.

Some times it’s worth playing the poorer version of games out of fascination. For example HL2 and Doom 3 were especially built for original Xbox. Or Alien Isolation for the Xbox 360. No doubt they run at 30fps, but it’s still interesting to see the games running on older hardware.
