This. GTA V had a humongous potential to be one of the greatest games of all time, but they rushed it.

How was GTA V rushed?

The story felt rushed. They tried to wrap up everything at the end whether it made sense or not.

For some reason, I can't post pictures.

Narrative is a big part in GTA games.

Gameplay is a much bigger part of any game, a much bigger part and gameplay is far more important than story,(and I liked GTA V's story, it's subjective), anyway, is there anything that you can say to support your statement that GTA V is rushed without mentioning the words: story, narrative, or tale.

Narrative and gameplay go hand in hand in GTA games you can't diminish it.

Quality of story is subjective so answer my question without mentioning the words: story, narrative or tale, how is the game rushed?

And while we are on topic, I think that Mass Effect 2 is rushed (activates flame shield).

  • The Division: I am in no rush for a next gen console but even when I do get one, I won't buy this game because it's multiplayer only, and games like that pretty much have an expiry date.
  • Anything that is Digital Only: I don't feel comfortable paying for digital downloads, if i'm going to buy a game, it has to be physical.

I consider GTA V to be the best game of all time, so GTA V.

Don't get me wrong, I love Assassins's Creed IV (it's my second favourite game of 2013), but modern sandboxes are more immersive for me than ones set in the past and GTA V had better variety.

I think it's the best game of all time, so I agree.

  • Tomb Raider Anniversary 2
  • Just Cause 3
  • Saints Row 5 (when I say that, I mean an actual Saints Row game, not a superhero game)

I would murder someone for a remake of Tomb Raider II.

They should also remake GTA San Andreas to stop the fans complaining about GTA V, and why they are at it, they should remake Vice City.

@RageQuitter69: Hah! Valid point. I always try to keep that kind of thing in mind when reading reviews. I also like to listen to the general consensus of gamers as well. For instance, if you only read the professional reviews of ME3 you'd have no idea you might not enjoy the ending. It was the gamers that brought up that point and so obviously it being at the end of the game took time to realize. If you buy games day one you always run the risk of being disappointed.

I can't even listen to gamers for opinions on a game due to fanboys and story whores, I stick to the old fashion way of trying out games without listening to critics or gamers (although I don't buy on day one since I live in Australia where games are more expensive), yes you can risk being disappointed, but the same can be said for listening to critics and gamers, for example, no critic or gamer mentioned the fact that Metal Gear Solid 4 only had 4 hours of gameplay and multiplayer where you had to pay for content and even new characters slots (this just showed how greedy Hideo Kojima is).

I'm not saying that you shouldn't do what you do, i'm just putting my $0.02 out there.
