I'm somewhat positive... No. I'm certain it can happen again.
If you can go on for almost a decade through VGs and still end up producing stuffs like Big Rigs I'm sure this gen can do with some stupidity in the form of Wii camera controls. :)
It wasn't an insult. If taken in context, he is praising Sony, saying that LBP sounds like something Nintendo would usually make, and he wishes that it was on the Wii. He said the same about Halo and Gears of War.Tylendal
Well, not entirely the same about Halo and GeOW but I think you're right in saying he's praising Sony.
As for itbelonging to the usual alotmenton the Wii? That could be argued.
EDIT: Sorry for the poor translation... I'm British! :P
I'd put it down to choice and even that's as open as ever.
If you really think about it nobody's screwed if they have a Wii or not. All the list does is point to what gamers, serious gamers, will miss out on with one console, let alone any console by itself.
To hell with it, I'm hyping this game AAAA. I even hyped Metroid Prime 3 and Phantom Hourglass AA, and Hyped Zack & Wiki A. I'm usually very conservative, but I have faith in this title.Cactuar_Scott
I might have to join you in this despite my already ridiculous bet on it.
Yes, I admit there are crap games, by half-ss devs, on all consoles. But the point is, we're talking about how gimmicky the Wii remote is. It's a totally different input device (physically)............but nothing a standard controller cannot do. Sure it makes aiming easier, makes pointing easier.....but what about games like Basketball, Hockey, Racing, Fighting (not boxing), some Adventure games? (sorry but No More Heroes is laughable when Waggled) and where's the RTS's besides BWs? And what happen to Bionic Commando? I thought the Wii remote would make sense, ............oh I forgot the Wii hardware.M8ingSeezun
It's funny how everyone raves on how the Wiimote can't do something when it could actually do more than a standard controller do with an additional 3 buttons to their respected setups. What makes it worse is how intruitive the Wiimote is in comparison.
Also, I suggest you look for examples in the sports area. Most sports fit better with the Wiimote than you think and one game doesn't determine if it's a total disaster to put something of that genre using its tech. Someties itcan mean the devs didn't really do a good jobwith control ethics.
You sheep miss the TC's point. And its the same point I've been trying to get into your brainwash head of yours. Whether its only 4 games, 3 games, or 10 games using the Wiimote's potential........that's NOT THE POINT.
The point is Nintendo CLEARLY stated the Wiimote is a "new" way of playing games, YET.......it HAS NOT PROVEN itself in ALL GENRES!!!!!!!!!!!!
GET IT?????? THE IRONY ON NINTENDO'S PART???? THE CONTRADICTION ON NINTENDO'S MARKETING?
GET IT??M8ingSeezun
The TC uses one example to state that fact I'll use one too. Fair trade.
You've gotta be honest with yourself... Is the TC's OP that convincing?
...And on the note of excuses. Should I blame the 360 for turds like Hour of Victory and Bomberman: Act Zero? Or should I blame the PS3 for Lair and Motostorm flopping?
