You don't play football for stats...you play football to win...and when the pressure is on he doesn't play well. The greatest play their best when the pressure is on and Manning always chokes. To me that is not the greatest ever.
It's not a knock on McNabb...but you have to go with the hot hand right now and that is Garcia. This same thing happened to Jacksonville last year with Leftwhich and Gerrard...Leftwhich came back and stunk it up against the Patriots. You always stick with the hot hand come playoff time. If this was week 8 and not week 16 then I would say go back to McNabb it's his team. But it's not.
Even with Leinart's season being over it was still a good rookie season for him. From a QB standpoint he learned a lot and I think showed the Arizona has their QB of the future and that they have something they can build around. They now have a solid core on offense. If they can build up the O-line and make that defense a little better...watch out!
