Exclusive interview with ME3 Game Director Casey

What are your thoughts on the reaction to the game's endings?

"I didn't want the game to be forgettable, and even right down to the sort of polarizing reaction that the ends have had with people–debating what the endings mean and what's going to happen next, and what situation are the characters left in. That to me is part of what's exciting about this story. There has always been a little bit of mystery there and a little bit of interpretation, and it's a story that people can talk about after the fact."

I have some questions hopefully you guys can answer, some probably have been asked alot though:

1. The lack of a final boss, how come?
2. Shepard is standing out in space without any space equipment, huh? :?
3. Lack of the "investigate" option to ask questions, like Shepard always would. Ex. Asking on how his squad and friends are doing back on Earth. Why?
4. I took (LI) Ashley and James Vega with me, and they both got shot by the Harbinger, but during the ending clip with the Normandy on the standed planet both of them walked out with Joker unhurt. And they all looked relieved, but they shouldn't because of a few reasons like EDI is dead (Joker), and Shepard is missing (Ashley). And who rescued Ashley and James? They actually lived from that attack? They got hit harder than Shepard!
5. When choosing how to end the game, it shows that if it were Anderson he would have destroyed the reapers but in red as if it was a Renegade option. I don't understand, why would that be the Renegade choice? TIM would have choosen to control the reapers but it shows it in Blue, like it's a paragon choice. What's the meaning of this?
6. When I decided to destroy the Reapers, it showed the clip at the very end with Shepard waking up and he has armor on. How did he end up there? And with his armor? He would have burned from the atmosphere coming down from the Citadel, btw I believe they only show this clip if you pick to get rid of the reapers as well as have high EMS. Again, why only show it with that choice? (Destroying the Reapers) Was it all really an hallucination? He never made it to the Citadel? And that clip is just a teaser/hint for future DLC?
7. How did Anderson get there in the Citadel before Shepard in the first place?
