Starfield comes to mind, a 2023 game that looks, feels, and plays like a game released in 2016.

However, the OP is confusing valid and smart game design choices with outdated-ness, because maybe a few games from different unrelated genres today play different.

I hope one day those horrible people at the Florida government can be kicked out. The sheer malice they have been doing for the past decade is cruel and inhumane.

@hardwenzen: Nah. I'm confident in my score.

BF2042 ended up being fairly good, although for the most part it felt like a followup to BF3 and BF4 instead of a true next gen Battlefield.

I hate to hear this "they fixed the game" or "BF2042 is pretty good now". Fixed and good compared to what? Comapred to the release of 2042, a game that is literally 2/10 worthy title? Sure, now its a 5/10, maybe a 6/10 on a good day. That's not BF worthy at all. Compare the "fixed" BF2042 to BF3 as an example, and the difference in quality is beyond ridiculous.

BF2042 launched as a turd. Years later, the turd got polished, and is now a Polished Turd. Nothing positive should be said about that.

I'd say it's an 8/10 now. It's not as groundbreaking as past titles were, it's just basic Battlefield now.

I tried it for a few days last year, it was ok for the type of game it wanted to be.

I’d resubscribe for Call of Duty, but you didn’t even provide a link for that article, you just pirated it instead.

This just means a lot of people were excited to try it at launch. It says nothing of its present popularity or player count.

The health and well being of the people that make your videogames should not be left to the majority of gamers, because if they had their way, games wouldn't exist.

The rise of cancers such as the manosphere really cause a lot of damage to impressionable boys. The idea of being nice to others is completely uninteresting to them, they like the idea that they are superior and higher ranked to women more.
