@destroyerHHH, Yeah, I'm with you on this one. This does indeed seem like a markedly different device than the DS, but we aren't getting any of that from these editors (Except Giancarlo). Why are they so jaded? 3D effects without glasses is a huge leap forward in visual technology. I Owned the Virtual Boy and this sounds like anything but that. I hope Nintendo can deliver on this.

Cj19 32, You asked what a PS3 couldn't do that a PC could. Don't ask the question if you don't want to hear the answer. If you want to keep it about the games then the PC still wins due to the fact that it has more robust hardware than the PS3. Again, there is a difference here between basic functionality. Sure the PS3 can play deadspace but it will play and look better on a PC that costs just as much with more other funcionality to boot. What you are paying for with any console is an experience. Just like with Apple and the Ipod. Can you buy a MP3 player with more functionality than the Ipod? Sure, but people just like the experience and ease of use of that gadget. I was just merely clarifying that a PC even at half the Price of the PS3 is still a much better deal on the whole, but if your focus is just on gaming then the PC is still a better system but whether you prefer the PS3 as a platform more is a totally different story. It like people who like XBL and don't mind paying the $50 a year for it. It's all the about the experience you get. Just don't say that either the PS3 and 360 can do whatevere a PC can do for less because that's wrong!

Cj19 32, If your talking about basic functions then not much but if you want to talk seriously, buy some professional studio editing tools and the difference between PS3 and PC are like night and day. Speaking of Basic. Try hosting and recording and publishing a Podcast with the PS3...a simple task and guess what. Not possible with the PS3 tools you are provided!

at both dogdirt2000, and riffraff420, It's also because the PS3 can't output these games at anything higher than 720p. They are playing to the LCD.

vishakhenzo2005, It depends on how much you want to get out of a PC. If you want the latest and greatest you are going to pay. If you want a decent experience and average PCI-e PC Video card will last you a good 4-5 years and cost you about a $100 or less. The graphical capabilities will still outstrip the console versions. There are a lot of misconceptions about PC gaming.
