Maybe it’s a current bug but I’m seeing light grey text on a white background, which is very hard to read.

Online is getting better and better. Lester is giving me some really complex missions, the best one being hijacking a plane from a ton of mercs then piloting it to the air strip but its filled with mercs so your teammates on the ground have to take them out so you can land safely.

I finally beat one of the survival missions, which is horde mode. Its crazy hard but I finally had a great team. I bought my first apartment. Missions are making me much more money now, I finally have some decent guns. The online really opens up after you put in about 10 hours.

The missions certainly do get better. I think it's a shame that they make you wait so long before the really interesting content opens up. This weird single-player pacing sensibility applied to a multiplayer mode feels really out of place. Also it might be just me or maybe it's that my physical stat is really low but even on normal the enemies in most missions will drop me in 1 or 2 shots before I even see them. In single player I was able to tackle nearly all missions without any problems but online I'm having a real hard time trying to just stay alive. Even with a bullet proof vest my health gets shredded in seconds making me wish that they nerfed the damage just a bit.

I'm pretty excited to see what the heists will look like as getting together with your crew is already pretty fun in single missions, and doing a crazy multi-stage setup has the potential to be amazing.

The complaints can be applied to all of the Bioshock games. The original had even more tiresome combat as Big Daddies were the quintessential bullet sponge that not even the toughest enemies from Infinite could match in a battle of health bars. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion of course, but it's much easier to say "I didn't like this one as much" rather than pick apart mechanics that are identically lifted from a game you deem a masterpiece.
