While some people would see this as a good thing, i think Valve may have created a crack that may send the industry into its third crash. What the hell is Valve doing, by doing this, they are basicly inviting a system where there would be little barrier to entry into the home console market, in a few years time, the market would be filled with different hardware just it was it 1983. Before you lot disagree, go and read the history of the console market, both the first and second crash. This is a terrible idea in its totality, like for real Valve. There is a reason why home consoles has sustained the industry for over two decades, achieving steady growth, i just hope Valve knows what the fuq they are trying to do
I like how mainstream media makes real life killing so trivial as to compare it to a video game, the idea of taking another humans life is not something i think most gamers have to emotional capacity to deal with either pre-murder, murder or post-murder. These CBS,Fox or whatever need to really shut up with the constant pinyata whooping of the games industry
If Valve is really serious about joing the console business, they should make a joint venture with Google, that is how they can really take the fight to the market
@NX75 @abnergoinbig Dead Rising may come out for PS4, i cannot guarantee Deep Down though because Ono confirmed it is being co developed with Sony studios
