@Gue1: they should have kept the original core, there was really no need to take that much from the uncharted series, it's so sad to see tomb raider likened to an uncharted knock off, it's quite insulting to be frank. As an artist myself, one thing I don't want to be told is I'm doing a cheap knock off of someone else's work, it's an insult to my pride but I suppose crystal dynamics could care less about integrity cause for them it's all about money. I notice some of their decisions seem to be money motivated rather than passion led but what do I know

Hermits will always do what they want, act like they work on video games and know every nook and cranny that exist when it comes to building games. Oooh and let's not forget no other games deserve the right to exist if they ain't open world, filled with mechanics and blah blah, quite an obnoxious bunch really
I think gamers won cause theirs lots of games coming. Rime and wild have my attention, they look like small budget games that could have a good impact just like journey did
@uninspiredcup: exactly my point really, the previous design was unique and had its own identity, no other game played like it. Fast forward to the reboot and your friends at crystal dynamics decided what made tomb raider unique sucks and instead choose to control paste like for like tropes that made uncharted popular, don't get me wrong, there isn't anything wrong with taking inspiration from another game but atleast do it with grace and differentiate them enough not to look like a clear copy. I felt no reason to play the reboot at all and still feel the same
To be frank I could care less about tomb raider cause of its identity crisis. Uncharted was the reason I didn't bother to buy the game due to over similarity and making it exclusive doesn't even give a sense of missing out cause let's be honest, the uncharted looks more promising than whatever crystal dynamics hope to come up with for their poor attempt at an uncharted clone
Red dead redemption was one of the buggies, glitchest, inconsistent technical marvel I have ever loved from rockstar. Yes tc, you are not picking because you choose to, a product that offers satisfaction on a high scale is considered top grade, doesn't mean it's flawless, it just means those flaws are nit picking level and that is what you are doing tc
Open world games are overrated. There exist original ideas that need to come to life which is where I'd rather see Sony invest rather than try tick a box that's already filled.
@geniobastardo: it's a very deadly, highly contagious virus that's presently a threat to humanity. In a few months, it's killed over half a hundred people due to its 90% mortality rate, it's also quickly spread within border countries super fast, this is the stuff of nightmares and there is no cure, vaccine or whatever
