Should have put that in the topic title :P but castlevania is due to have a demo out in the US before the end of february (right here) (yeah I'm aware the date is different between the two, guess it must have got pushed forwards) and I think a monster hunter demo is due in the american downloads this week anyway, though they haven't been announced yet.Just being safe. :P I also wasn't sure if you meant this week or not.gettingpatches
And the US just got the MH3 demo up, so yeah looks legit. :P
I do have to agree somewhat that Reggie should be doing the US Directs, but Iwata is the president Nintendo so if he wants to do it, I don't think it's a bad thing. It's always nice to know that the person who's ultimately in charge cares enough to talk directly to his fans.
It's much better than anything on the console. I'm definitely a fan of the series, but I didn't expect to be nearly as good as it is. Awakening is a must have.
I would do either Platinum, HG/SS, or BW2, and out of those I would personally lean towards HG/SS since you're probably more familiar with it being a remake and it still introduces new Pokemon to you. All Pokemon games on the DS have Wi-fi trading, so that shouldn't be a problem. BW2 or Platinum offer you the best chances at catching the most Pokemon in game though.
I only played the first one because the second looked exactly the same to me. Which is fine really, because I put a good amount of time into the first one. It's a fun series especially once you get to start customizing your monsters and teams. The only problem with it, as with all DQ games, is that it's a grindfest.
I don't know what the differences are between the two, but if the second only has different areas and more monsters, I'm not sure it's worth the extra $20. If anything you can just buy the first and wait for a price drop on the second if you like it that much.
