The DS Fire Emblem is one you should probably skip.

You should get Radiant Historia, Chrono Trigger, and Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced 2.  Excluding the Pokemon games they're my favorite RPGs on the system.

For the 3DS the only retail game I can say is a must have is Mario Kart 7.  The other games are just good or not worth it unless you just like that particular series.  The eShop however, has Pushmo and Crimson Shroud, as well as a boatload of other titles you can look into like Crashmo, VVVVVV, and The Denpa Men.  A lot of people also like Mighty Switch Force, Mutant Mudds, Sakura Samurai, and Dillon's Rolling Western.  Also, Fire Emblem Awakening comes out this Monday and is getting rave reviews from basically everywhere.

I bring mine to class with me and just keep it in my backpack. I get several thousand steps walking across campus and every now and then I'll get a street pass, but more often than not my roommate is the only person I tag.

My only issue with your argument (I agree overall that it's a very clever way to get 3rd parties to make games) is that when you look at Pokemon Conquest, the title emphasizes one series over the other. I don't see Nobunaga's Ambition suddenly becoming more popular because of Pokemon Conquest, because nowhere in the game was it obvious that the other "random" characters were from that series. There's a chance that people who played Pokemon Conquest would recognize characters from NA, but I don't think that would lead them to buy the game necessarily.

[QUOTE="charizard1605"]I want to see the 3DS version, but now that I am getting a Wii U after all, that one is probably the version I will pick.LegatoSkyheart

The Game I believe is said to be just like Playstation All Stars.

So No matter which version you pick, you're going to be playing with the Same game and you'll still be able to play with WiiU players.

I'm not sure, I'm just spouting specualtion at this point.

Even if that weren't the case, I'd take the Wii U version simply because of the superior controls and greater ease of local multiplayer. It sucks having to have multiple 3DS for local multiplayer.

If true then that could realy open up for some Monster Hunter/ MMO Guild style battles, which could be really awesome given the scope of the battles.

I'll give the demo a try, but I've never been a fan of this style of dungeon crawling.

Wouldn't XY defeat the purpose of a stadium game? 3D battles and stuff...ANIMEguy10034
Yeah but they're cheap cash grabs by Nintendo and being able to see HD battles would be nice. Plus the N64 games had some pretty awesome mingames and interesting tournament options. And rentals (with customization options) could be an awesome addition to make it stand out from the handheld counterparts.

I'm sure there's going to be a Pokemon Stadium game out. Chances are I wouldn't buy it anyway, but let's just hope it's better than PBR.

This is definitely way too late for a game that doesn't look very good. From what I can tell it's just a hack n slash with what might be a good story. I don't see XSEED doing very well with this one, which is a shame after how well TLS did for them.

well, do yourself a favor and get into the Zero Escape games then. i mean, i'm sure radiant historia is pretty good (wouldn't have ordered it otherwise), but i find it hard to believe it can top 999. quite a rollercoaster that game.BrunoBRS
What I saw from the gameplay it's just not my kind of game. I can't see myself getting into it.

Radiant Historia was just so refreshing when I played it, and mind you this was literally a week or two after I had finished Xenoblade. It's story really is something I find really special throughout and it only gets better and better as the game progresses.
