@SecretPolice: I am definitely no slouch at Gears, but a few scenes in Gears 5 felt overly difficult, and I had to fight for 20 minutes or something before there was a checkpoint. I have completed Gears 1-3 on all difficulties, but after completing Gears 5 on hard, I had had enough. I particularly hated the ice world. I even got lost there lol.

I enjoyed Soccer Story. Real cozy game. Relaxing music, charming old'-school 2D graphics and mostly slow-paced gameplay. What's not to like?

I spent far too long fishing in red dead 2 if that counts.

Real cozy. And after fishing, you went and executed some cowboys, right?

Hehe.

I had mixed feelings about Gears 4 and 5. They had their moments, but they also felt rather repetive sometimes. Ah, heck, just bring on Gears 6.

For the vast majority of games, I am fine with 30 fps. However for racing games and fast games like NHL23 I strongly prefer 60 fps.

I am not really interested in playing Helldivers, but it would be nice to see more games cross-platform.

@davillain: always heard good things about Fallout New Vegas. Never got around to it.

Well that's because New Vegas is the only Fallout game that Todd Howard could never touch and its also the only good Fallout game to date since it was made by Obsidian.

It's pretty darn cheap to find nowadays.

3 bucks on Steam. Couldn't go wrong even if it was a mediocre game.

Even at 60 bucks, New Vegas would still be better value for money than most modern AAA games.

@Archangel3371:I also just finished The Quarry. What did you think of it? I thought it was a pretty cool game with excellent atmosphere and voice acting. Only, all the walking parts got a bit tedious sometimes. I liked the fact that the characters could get killed, and you couldn't just press the reset button to save them. That reminded me of Until Dawn, which was a brilliant game.

I haven't really owned any bad consoles. My least favorite was probably the Saturn, but I still got a lot of enjoyment out of Virtua Fighter 2, Sega Rally, NHL2K, Iron Storm and more. The 3D graphics were rough, Daytona in particular disappointed me. The arcade was still way ahead of consoles at that time.
