Probably people seem to forget before Playstation when Nintendo set the prices Games cost 80-99$ easy. Those were just for SNES games and some of them weren't even that good.Shielder7Yup, especially considering an $80 game in 1990 is worth roughly $140 today. Games have only really become cheaper relative to the value of the dollar and will probably continue to do so.

I would, games used to be $70 in Canada after all, they dropped to $60 when our dollar value became the same as the US.
I have a very good signal that will easily reach my computer wirelessly. It is quite speedy too.
Should I just start with wireless and then think about ethernet once my computer is up and running?

Just use wireless unless you run into interference problems.
With powerline adapters you have no idea what kind of performance you'll get until you actually try it (unless you know how your home is wired up). My brother for instance can only get 5 megabits over powerline, but he uses it for games since his landlord's wireless router isn't reliable at all.
Yes, in many ways like textures, lighting, and shaders it's better than the Gamecube.
However it can't do as many polys and runs at a lower resolution.
[QUOTE="lostsoul039"]if you can go a bit over $200, you can get a 7870 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161404, it's got a rebate that puts it at $199Should I buy a GeFore instead of a Radeon, or spend $400 on the 7970 which I'm not prepare to do. So any advice on the card I should get and I want to keep it around the $200 mark?

Don't worry too much about what the others are saying about frame latency OP, get this and you'll definitely see an improvement.
Though this is an option if you want Nvidia: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121660
Built my brother the exact same thing specs wise in December. The 5870 I handed down to him sounds like a freaking jet engine and hits 85C though...
I don't like anything that Bethesda or Rockstar have made. I can't really say that about any other big companies I know.
