There you go 27" 1080 led 2MS response 2 HDMI $250 ($230 after rebate) plus there is a $20 promo code that ends today, so total after all that is $210 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236295&Tpk=VE278H04dcarraher
Looks good to me, it looks like it has 3.5mm audio out so you can plug in headphones for audio rather than using the crap built-in speakers.
Thanks for all of your help. And I also have one more question for the ones who have experience with console gaming on monitors. The new consoles are connected through HDMI and I read that the only way to get the best refresh rate and response time is to have it connected through DVI and the only way that can be possible is through a HDMI to DVI cable, but the catch is that it will remove the audio so I need a way to bring that audio back. Can I use speakers and/or headphones to output the audio while the console is connected through HDMI to DVI?abnergoinbig
Aren't HDMI and DVI the same signal but HDMI has audio? Don't worry about using DVI...

WoW is pretty friendly to newcomers (however the community is not at all), and is still a pretty good MMO. As far as end-game content goes I haven't played anything that matches it, but I think the questing/leveling/pvp is done better in other games (like SWTOR or GW2).

I wouldn't play on anything other than a high population server, otherwise you'll end up with nothing to do. Even if there are waiting times when a big patch comes out, it's worth it.

OK, so I found the Asus PA248Q on ncix.com, but no luck on the Dell U2412M except from the Dell website, and they are the same price, 299.99 for asus one and right now 299.99(reg, 369.99) for Dell. hmm....

Why not use Amazon?

Amazon, does not have it, I'm in Canada and i's not on the .ca site. :(

Man, Amazon Canada is complete crap. I'm so jealous of the US site. I don't know if I'm not looking hard enough, but TV's, speakers, and headphones in general in Canada have prices that are way jacked up compared to other electronics, it blows.

On-Topic: I have a U2412m and love it, I almost never play shooters though.

The cell, by a HUGE margin. You probably don't remember the beginning of this generation very well if you say otherwise.

Right now? PS4.

It could easily change though, I want to see what Microsoft has to offer.

The Vita's also getting some other games for free (don't even need to be a PS+ subscriber), and some sales.

Not dead, new games come out that support it.

However those games almost always also support the dual shock, so no one gives a damn.

If we're talking games no, it will not help with the performance of your GPU. Even if it had 100GB of VRAM it wouldn't help.

The issue is that the GPU doesn't have enough processing power to do very much in the first place other than to perform basic tasks. Giving it more VRAM won't do a thing for you. Most games right now don't even use 1.7GB of VRAM, and if they do they probably would not run on your PC anyway :(

Going to 8GB of RAM could help you with multitasking and stuff, but it probably won't help with games considering you're completely bottlenecked by an integrated GPU.
