thing is no system is living its best life at the min. every system is objectively weak in key areas. the answer, which has always been the case but even more so these days, is you need to own multiple platforms to get the most out of gaming. only the intellectually challenged can't objectively critique their preferred system(s)

sony have slept walked into this gen. it's not just that there's been a lack of games, it's there's no games on the horizon either, and nothing resembling a plan or cohesive strategy to be seen.

xbox aren't swamped with great exclusives but ms have at least got a clear plan and plenty of irons in fires so at least their future looks promising

ill say a 7. review embargo that lifts on launch day never a good sign. short, narrative driven (usually a synonym for gameplay-lite) but likely high production vales. gs were quite favourable to the first. 7 feels a safe-ish bet.

will try it on gamepass

@Maroxad: seems a bit drastic.

Yeah the shared universe thing can be a double edged sword. On one hand you need to watch all the movies for the overall world and character building. However on the other hand you also get that long term investment in the universe they built as a whole. It did make a lot of sense for Marvel though given the comic book structure of the storytelling. Also you get a more impactful payoff for the big climax in Infinity War and Endgame.

Thats why I'm watching all. because I want to see all super hero interact with each other somehow.

they're really not all worth watching, some stinkers in there, some with very little bearing on infinity war and endgame. but there are definitely some good ones. infinity war is my favourite

@davillain: I'm tired of being called stupid for telling the truth.

The best advice I can give is to just drop whatever you are saying regarding wokeness, it's just gonna drag you down the rabbit hole you cannot come back up. Just leave it alone and don't talk about it here either.

And you aren't telling the truth, because you are proving everyone's point of view...especially Pedro's view. Look, just log-out, go play games to cool your mind and you'll be just fine when you get back.

Edit: @Pedro please leave the poor guy (or woman) alone. I think he had enough for today, wouldn't you agree?

@gifford38 that's good modding from dav, take his advice

i think they called knight the arkham trilogy conclusion i.e. the third game

They excluded it from canon yes. Even though it told a better story. And had a Bane that was actually Bane and not The Incredible Dumb.

Seen as a filler game, the bastard B-Team. KOTOR 2.

Do not understand why everyone is so resistant to me being right. Very odd.

then you have ghost praising spiderman and tlou. strange times

It's gameplay was the exact same barring the detective stuff added.

Only thing I like is 1. The setting which reminds me of Batman Returns, and pretty sure that was deliberate 2. Bane, my fav character who in almost all forms of media outside the comics is terrible 3. The Joker in this is actually more interesting than Rocksteadys

As a game, with gameplay, it's a one and done. Something never ever returned to, and I typically just google the cutscene to say randomly on the internet "hey look, This Bane isn't shit"

Also a game that gets looked down upon as a bastard compared to Rocksteady, with them seemingly sharing that attitude. Which made their downfall all the sweeter.
