Not a bad score.. will you be checking out Rise of the Ronin, SW?
Poo cows, breaks have been out so long for the cows I think they've been discontinued. lol :P
Still higher than the 69 that Sea of Thieves got!
@SolidGame_basic:
Nope, GS re-reviewed it to 8/10 and for the last couple years with the megatons of free DLC it's likely now a 12/10. lol :P
There was a reason only the Famitsu scores leaked.
I'm interested in seeing some footage that's not B-roll.
I'm also interested in playing this game, but will wait a year for the PC version.
Currently have Outcast and Horizon FW on my plate, that's more than enough.
@kvallyx:
And they're ready to celebrate SoT 6th anniversary with a ton of new DLC. :D
Uncle Phil just never stops giving. lol :P

Team Ninja game being a 7/10 what else is new. Best case was 8/10. Great Soulslikes, no where near the quality of FromSoft.
Will get on PC when it comes hopefully max 1 year tho
Thank god. This game always looked horrible and their engine is dated AF.
Studios shouldn't be rewarded for putting out sub-standard trash banking on their name to carry them over the finish line.
Go back to the drawing board, ditch the cheap ass, old engine that produce games with PS3 graphics and animations from 2006 and put out something worth people paying their money for with standards that at least measure up to 2024.
Crazy that this is the same company that produced the visually impressive DOA 3 on OG Xbox
Called it!
That being said... it's in the 70s range, why are people acting like that's trash?
Wo Long was an 80 MC, so it's not far off from that. I don't remember people being as harsh to Wo Long.
The reviews definitely match all of the previews over the last few days.
Whenever a game is exclusive, there's always this subsidized hype machine around it that kind of dilutes what the game really is.
If they stuck with the initial PC release when they announced it, I'm positive we would all be on the same page regarding the expectations of this game.
It looked a lot like Wo Long to me, decent game but nothing special

And to think Sony paid just to have this flop exclusively on the PS5.😏
@dabear: it really bothers you to know that I play all systems and games and have opinions on them 😄

Posting your "year in review" without a gamer tag, and a snapshot of an XSX (most likely your neighbor's or a friend's) is not proof.
If you do actually own one, you are one of the dumbest consumers on the planet because you are spending money on a product that empirical evidence has shown time and time again you don't like.
So, which is it? Liar or dumb consumer?
I was so spot on on this game, its unbelievable. I am blown away by myself, actually. Super exciting and thrilling.
@Pedro: technically Ubisoft is finally making a Japanese AC game, about a decade after I've given up yammering for one
A tiny bit lower than I expected, but still respectable. When the biggest complaint I keep seeing is that it's over ambitious it worries me about the difficulty in some areas or grasping some end game meta. Either way I plan to go in with no expectations like I try to in every game I play. However, I'm starting with DD2 tonight first.
About right for a current PS5 game.
Still higher score than your biggest game of the year, Hellblade 2 lmao
I am tired of Japan settings honestly. People pretend we didn't have enough ninja-open-world games before but we actually had and plenty of them: Sekiro, Nioh 1 and 2, Ghost of Tsushima. The game looks like the worse version than all previous ones. And Assassin Creed in Japan thing doesn't sell it to me either. And the fact that Ubisoft is currently working on Assassin Creed in Japan setting makes me even less inclined to try this game. Japanese developers, From Software aside, were not really good in making video games in this past decade. Outdated graphics, repetitive gameplay, boring side quest, they have been stuck in the past for quite a while. And this game is just another example of that.
