I'll say 8/10, high 70s meta. Decent splash, but won't be making waves. The AC6 of this year.
From what I've seen and played of the demo, it's definitely copying the homework of Nier and Sekiro without really understanding the assignment. But who knows, maybe the main game will have a lot of surprises after the first hour to throw around, and it can really do worse than copying 2 excellent games.
People seem to be forgetting this studio did nothing but shitty gacha games before this though, so the chances they come out of essentially nowhere and produce a GOTY worthy game are basically 0. Definitely feel like the simp squad is overhyping it a bit because of TnA.
It does look nice and run well at least. Perhaps the best thing about the game is it will mark the point where big UE5 releases finally stop shitting the bed in tech and design.
I think it will fall short of 9 or 10 due to localisation issues. Certain lines, like Lily's "it's windy" (4:41 2nd vid) just sound off.
So a high quality gameplay, good story, hampered by poor dubbing and standard first big IP issues.
On Open Critic I would give a low 8 or High 7, due to to the recent Stigma and the certainty at least some critics will try to capitalise. Forced to pick, I will be optimistic and say Low 8

My post was directed at your fellow cows since we have had a ton of examples of people hyping a PS exclusive, only to turn around not invest in it, and we get reports of "poor" sales (relative to budget and expectations)
